  • So, so nice..thanks for posting..love it...

  • Couldn't help but smile through this whole song and after :) awesome music

  • my son and daughter when they we just lil babies would fall alseep to this music everytime I put this on! so soulful and beautiful! cant imagine the world without enys music!

  • I know this says it's the original video, which it is. But it is not the original version of the song. The original Storms in Africa is longer, and is the better version in my view.

  • She blesses the rains down in Africa.

  • @donotwatchthis no that was toto

    lol

  • @Zwittz I'm glad the cross-reference didn't go unnoticed.

  • Such a beautiful vidieo

  • I just love all the pictures in the background of animals as she sings

  • THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS WHEN I DO HOMEWORK

  • Loves this song and Enyas music ^.^

  • <3

  • Gawd, she is just so friggin beautiful!!! And that voice!!! *in heaven*

  • always loved her and always will. she's amazing. God has gifted her!!!

  • 343 likes would override seven dislikes, like yays over nays in the senate - hey, these are votes-face it - and, but only in theory, we americans(supposedly united)supposedly live in a so-called, supposedly the "ideal" to strive for, democracy....So, all that said, Enya W-I-N-S! Any comments - whatever they may be I wanna hear 'em...Bring it on

  • her music is so relaxing and just brings you up when your sad or down when you mad back to happiness!

  • @kkqqis you said it :-DDD

  • I love Enya's music there's something about it that soothes the soul--> I listen to it most often when am studying or just RELAXING Thumbs UP :) IF U LOVE HER MUSIC TOOOOO!

  • I don't know bout you people but listening to her music makes me feel young and fresh, not that i'm old i'm 25 but makes my spirit feel young n fresh. By the way i'll be downloading some of her albums on rapidshare Lol. while i'm at it i'll be throwing in some yanni and enigma albums as well...

  • The pictures show you what beauty God made.

  • this song makes me want to do the rain dance:)

  • This should've been as popular as Orinoco Flow...........................I like it better. Actually, O.F. is probably my least favorite Enya song (although it's still good).

  • Yes it is true Africa has many political storms and tribulations across the continent.

  • i love this song. so beautiful

  • Awww This Is Cute =D ♥

  • Actually, no, I'm kind of disappointed but not really. I mean, even my own nephews can really tell the difference. It's kind of sad that this is so, but you know, that's just life. It's just that this song has a really cool effect to it in stereo. especially if you play it on a surround system. That's all.

  • About.. SIX people and counting don't understand the beauty of Celtic music. :D

  • This video is not working.

  • This song is great. I actually like the new wave and calypso vibe to it. Enya rocks!

  • The only down side to the video iis that's mono. I hate mother fucking mono. Why couldn't it be bluddy stereo? Coome on man!

  • @MrHamit64 ....are you ashamed of me for not knowing the difference?

  • @MoonlightDoom Aw c'mon. She's gotta eat, too.

  • I humbly retract my grade of 3 days past. It is different than the other songs.

  • Ah this is one of my favorite songs to study to.

  • This is the only song that I do not care for.

  • Her songs speak to me deeply...in English, Latin, and what little Irish Gaelic I've taught myself, not that it's necessary to understand the words in order to find beauty in a song. Some of us may be able to read Tolkien's Elvish, but I'm sure Enya is the first person to endeavor to sing in that fictional language. Her videos, however, would be greatly improved if she weren't blue-screened into them.

  • she looks like my mom

  • @GoodLooksEnt If she does, then you must be stunning.

  • @GoodLooksEnt You must be in your 20s

  • @GoodLooksEnt lol that's cool my mom looks like her too :)

    I'm 19 btw

  • Strange Music But I Love Itt. =]

  • Great singer and breathtaking song. A lovely, calm, and enchanting voice. The mixture of musical styles is quite inspiring.

  • when I was too young to understand this music video, I laughed when she looked like she was sniffing that tall girl's neck.

  • i can listen to this all day long .. great music... un pie dirsas kur vinja ir filmeeta laba muuzika un viss

  • This is wonderful!

  • WOW!!! NICE DRUM BREAK... ONE OF THESE DAYS, I HOPE, TO TRAVEL TOO AFRICA, TO EXPERIENCE THE WILDLIFE, TRIBES, AND NATURE... THERE IS A TRIBE, I DO NOT KNOW THE NAME, OF THE PEOPLES', BUT THE WOMEN THERE WEAR RED CLOTHING AND COAT THEIR BRAIDED HAIR, WITH RED CLAY. THEY LOOK AMAZING... I LIKED THE 4 DRUMMERS, IN THIS VIDEO: very creative.

  • @XTREMEPOWERRUSH they are the maasai from KENYA !!!!

  • @izbthmonroe _WOW, THANKS FOR THE INFO...

  • @XTREMEPOWERRUSH Do your research though of what part of Africa first...unless u might end up in a part of Africa that has been westernized!

  • @cha53z _ Oh, ok thanks. I want, too go where the culture/music is original, I like watching history, of africa and bizzare food with Andrew zimmerman, and assumed the whole country was that way, sorry, for making assumptions... I love the drummers, in the video...

  • @XTREMEPOWERRUSH No offense taken, i love history too the ones that involve culture and of course the uniqueness of a country. The country i would love to visit is Ireland!! yes. But hey some African countries are becoming westernized that they forget their own culture. So good luck and have fun.

  • i love this song gets me pumped up

  • Enya sings of nature. All of it. Good and bad. ....It won't be long and we won't have any weather....the way we are killing out trees in the Amazon. The amazon gives the earth 1/2 of it's oxygen.....

  • @rebbeccanne Yes, and with the over - finning of sharks for shark fin soup, as well as hunting them for sport, the fish population will grow out of control. This will cause the greatest reduction in phytoplankton, our other heavy hitter in our supply of oxygen. I've been a fan of Enya literally since I was just under 2. I remember hearing Watermark and Storms In Africa for the first time. They never left me.

  • kind of seems like it has African Child elements. lol.

  • NADIE COMO ELLA ESTA ES UNA DE MIS CANCIONES FAVORITAS GRACIAS !!ENYA

  • Yeah. Enya has Africa all figured out. What typical crap ... liberal white chick co-opting the "Africa Motif" to project an exotic image for herself.

    JUST KIDDING! (SORTA)

Truth is, this is one HELL of a great song and I admit to being a poorly closeted Enya fan. Go figure.

  • @Vengeance509 lol word for word this post can describe my thoughts

  • AWSOME as always...

  • Enya is a true artist, bringing otherworldly music to our ears. Her music is food for the soul <3 Why we dont get more artists like her? Gaga makes my ears bleed.

  • 1:05 - 1:09 - Am I the only one who finds this part disturbing?

  • @MADDOG6400

What is so disturbing about it? Maybe your mind is whats disturbing.

  • Comment removed

  • @MADDOG6400 At first, I thought it was a teenage boy who was running his fingers through the hair and kissing the head of the little girl....creepy! Then I realized it was Enya.....still creepy! Right on Maddog6400!

  • @1212354a jajajajajajaja good that one

  • @juanitocamacho I suppose her video editors wanted her to "connect" with the children in the video to show a mothering side to her. Less creepy, but still quizical.

  • Enya's music is so genuine and incredibly healing!

  • My 2 month old daughter cant fall asleep without me playing Enya for her

  • @rockerluv She has good taste!

  • Shannon, your comment is foolish. NO ONE "writes her scores". Enya writes, plays and sings EVERYTHING. She is a one-woman show, other than Roma Ryan writing the lyrics (in Gaelic or English), and a VERY rare guest musican playing one instrument on one track every blue moon.

  • @george88081: She's actually part of a three "man" team. Nicky Ryan and her collaborate on the song writing and producing while Roma Ryan mostly manages the lyrics.

  • Amazing!

  • This song is so beautiful, and energizing at the same time <3

  • the black people playing the drums is funny

  • Whoever wrote the score was not very creative; the phrases sound a lot like the 'Sail Away' song. Her voice is gorgeous, but she needs someone who can write scores for her that will let her 'sail' with that voice.

  • @shannon1234550

You mean the words? Roma Ryan, the wife of her producer, Nick Ryan, writes the words for her songs. Enya writes the music.

  • Sublime...

  • Enya's music really moves me...

  • Awesome video!! Especially like the drums....

  • lol her face at 1:32. xD

It's a good sounding song otherwise... but I've heard better--in my opinion.

  • Beautiful song, horrid video.

  • I love her music so much, always so beautiful, no matter how powerful it is. Africa sounds so pretty.

  • i love enya and all but goddamn these ads bustin my speakers

  • this is the second version of storms in africa

  • This was the very first Enya song I heard, when I was 7 or 8...and it's still my favorite today.

  • Always loved this song! <3

  • I do miss enya! she was one of the best things back in the 90's in my opinion!

  • Enya rocks!!

  • Did anyone else notice-there are no thumbs down for this video. I think that speaks volumes on real-great-MUSIC!

  • Love this song, I think it is billed as Storms in Africa(2) on Watermark. I also like "Exile"and "Orinoco Flow". Enya is so talented as is her sister Moya.

  • I so love this song and video...it disappeared for a long time and I couldn't find it, but I'm glad to see it back......thank you so much!

  • Love this song - Toby San Diego, CA

  • I love this song!!! I actually listened to this song during a thunderstorm in Africa :) It was cool

  • Enya's music is not only beautiful and soothing, but, she sings about all cultures and lands.

  • Just beautiful.

  • Two songs my son loved as a child were

this one, to which he always went to sleep, and Orinoco Flow, which sounds more like water than any song ever composed.

  • Absolutely one of the best artists to have along for a journey!

  • I love listening to Enya's music while driving on a long trip. Her music is so soothing!....I've always been a huge fan of her since I bought her WATERMARK CD back in 1988, with the worldwide hit ORINOCO FLOW.

  • @1aceves LOL! Funny you should say that about the road trip. Thats the song I have on her cd that I am taking for mine to the Colorado mountains!

  • @1aceves Her Watermark album STILL sells too. ^^

  • @1aceves Great comment about the driving ..I live in S Fl and back around '92 i used to drive down to Key West at night and when I approached the 7 MileBridge i put this song on and at the most dramatic part i would be at the top of a very high bridge surrounded by water on all sides with the lights o the nearby islands..your comment reminded me of those great drives...PEACE

  • makes me feel like I'm flying with nature and freedom!!!! wild. free. feeling everything

  • Haha, awesome, its Obi Wan Enya!

  • @arperseus

    you've met her?

  • @arperseus Don't be ridiculous, if Enya were a Jedi, the Sith would've given up within the first week, soothed by her sweet melodies.

  • @arperseus What you say is true, from a certain point of view...;)

  • @arperseus Win!

  • @arperseus Win!

  • @arperseus lol at you and your comment, she would pass as a jedi if this were star wars XD

  • @Minan3 Enya would make an excellent Jedi Master.

  • @BlizzagaLantean lol instead of using the force, she's using the voice. I wonder what her lightsaber would look like XD

  • @Minan3 she wouldn't need one

  • Beautiful. I love Enya.
