:D a taky to nikomu nervu do prdele...
@Lightingfreak777 i have an er5 as well, they are awsome, even though mine is restiricted to 33bhp because of my age and license, but it still shifts the only thing i would say is that it rattles a lot especially at 5000rpm but that might just be my bike (my friend says its my cam shaft, but i have heard of loads of people with the same problem) but er 5 all the way :D
@chrisabrahamsson ah true, are you in germany or australia or something?
Okay, that's interesting, I hadn't particularly noticed it but then I'm almost always either accelerating around town or sitting on about 6000RPM on the open road. Just the way physics work I'd say most bikes have a point at which a few different components will resonate together,
I suppose it's just a weakness of combustion engines
@Lightingfreak777 im in england. im usually never over 4500rpm unless i really want to go some and yeah i supose it is but it is still a great bike even if it has a rattle
@500erider The EN5 makes 50.1 HP, The Ninja 500r makes 59.1 HP, The facts listed say no. It makes more low & medium power, Then the Ninja does. I have a 2004 EN500 ltd bike, It even heaver the one here. Good cruising bike, Or first bike. I thought they where the same motor at first too. But the reviews & specs say different. Hope this helps, yl

ah the Honda was here too you know, but it did the straight even before the guy turned his camera on ;)
As for the ER winning- the specs on the GS and ER are identical, so this will be down to shifting, drag, and who has less fuel in the tank.

GS has 46 HP, ER5 has 50. I remember doing circles around GSes while "racing" them :-) both OK bikes, loved the ER gearbox
