Great tutorial, I followed all the steps and tried booting the Medanafenx but got the response: "Game Error: The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again."

It doesn't work like that. You could get a Cygnos to switch NANDs, from legit to JTAG, but that's expensive and complicated. Honestly, either expect to abandon Xbox Live with a JTAG, or play Live without all the cool modded features.

Oh by the way, if you have a JTAG. there is now an AWESOMELY EASY way to run N64 games. Just throw a USB stick with the following RAR unzipped onto it, and copy some N64 ROMs onto the USB stick. Plug in USB stick, boot with eject button and tray opening (Xell/Xellous). Can't run off a USB external HDD though. Super easy, convenient, N64 on a USB stick!
Not at present, though a new rebooter hack has been found for ALL current 360s, called the Reset Glitch. It may in time allow a rebooter like freeBOOT to run, right now it's libXenon only.
If you don't have partition 2, you have to restore it. It's easy just message me if you need the tutorial. And if you already have the Compatibility folder with stuff already inside it, delete all the stuff and then insert all of the Venomous Fire stuff. I had a couple of things in mine, and the emulator didn't work until I deleted those couple of files. :)

Welcome to the world of console modding, it's hard, it's not supposed to be easy, you're supposed to be able to push through trials and gain knowledge.
If you want to hop into the active, much easier, console modding scene, switch to PS3, 360 homebrew is dead.
I'm not sure if it works now, but back when I made this video, I remember trying getting it to work with Surreal XXX (N64 Xbox 1 Emu), and it would not. Recently for 360 modding, there was Love360, but it died. Currently the best hope is a PS364 which is PS3 homebrew. To be honest, if you want N64 emulation on your TV, just run Project 64 on your laptop, plug laptop into TV, and use Xbox 360 wireless controllers with a USB wireless receiver.

Make sure the IP address is correct, the 360 is hosting a FTP service like XeXmenu or FreestyleDash, your firewall on your PC is off, and the username and password are both xbox.

Your 360 already needs to be JTAG'd for this. That means, having soldered on JTAG wiring, extracted your NAND, patched Xell, obtained your CPU key, and installed a rebooter (like freeBOOT). Then, you can burn XeXmenu as a disc which the 360 will launch. Basically, your system has to be hacked to do this, it won't work with a stock, retail Xbox 360.
I'm looking to burn a DVD consisting of emulators (nes, snes, genesis, gb, gba ideally) as a gift for a friend. He has a hard modded 360. Any way to simply burn the programs without needing to connect to the console? Thanks in advance.
Not all Xbox .xbes load on the 360 (in fact, many do not). Medanafenx is one of the few, and myself and many others have got it to work.
I think you may be facing issues with your freeBOOT memory, and your comapatibility partition. I suggest you download HDD Compatibility Partition Fixer v1, and run it on your system. You will also need to inject launch.xex into your NAND. I also suggest, researching more on XB1 compatibility and full memory access for freeBOOT.

I removed the one i had in the 360 and created a new one which XBOX One was compatible!!! I am playing Nintendo games now even Super Nintendo and I have a question "Is it possible to play Nintendo 64 games using the 360? I have Surreal in my Jtag 360 and it loads with the roms but when I pick a game to play it loads the rom then black screen!!!

You have to have Memory Access to access that emulator.
As far as Quickboot, that error, "cannot resolve server", means you clicked to FTP the created quickboot file to your system without the 360 being on and hosting an FTP server. Just copy it manually.
Supplied credentials are wrong means you formatted your text incorrectly. Basically, you're making the quickboot file incorrectly.
I'm not sure if JTAG tool 1.74 targets the XB pack. You're running freeBOOT 0.032 right?

I tried to activate default.xbe using xexmenu 1.1 as well as freestyle dash 1.2

There is currently no method to run N64 games on an Xbox360, including attempting to run Surreal through a XBMC style Xbox 1 Emulator.

I finaly got it running with:
dash launch v2.06 for 12611
Xbox1 screen freezes with dash launch v2.04, so I suggest to run 2.06.
I tried partition fixer, but it seems like it was ok with partition.
Thank you QuackMasterDan, your solution is working 100%. But I suggest to write concrete versions as prerequisites.
