You are right. If you listen closely at 0:49-0:50 I'ts a cut in the song. I didn't know exactely how It ends, so I just wanted the end to be close enough to the theme.

I loved Robert Blake as Barretta back in the 1970's. I think it used to come on Friday nights on channel 7. Sammy Davis Jr was awesome singing the theme song, That's why i remember this show because of the theme song.

Eventhough i was a child back in the 1970's these was some good show back then and its to bad they dont have shows like this anymore. Thanks for the memories.

Creativity in the television industry pretty much died in the early '80s when commercial time became more important than time for the show. Too much intro. time means less commercial time. Nowadays they even sneak in commercials and promos for future shows during the show itself.

I remember, here in San Antonio, on the talk radio station, they would play the Baretta theme song when they would do the segment " the Robert Blake Update" when Mr. Blake was on trial for the murder of his wife Bonnie. I used to laugh when they would play this theme song as they talked about "what happened" the day before in court. Its funny, Baretta on the other side of the law.
