The diamonds aren't even put nicely on the cake. It seems like someone was just like "hmmm I want to make the world's most expensive cake. I will just make a cake a stick expensive earrings and rings in it." That is not a wedding cake. It is an edible jewellery box. If you're going to put diamonds on a cake don't just stick earrings and rings on it.

I don't hate expensive wedding cakes. Many of them are beautiful works of art and those who make them deserve to be compensated for their time. However, you should be able to EAT a cake. As you can see, that cake is not one to be bit into, and thus fails as a cake.
