i think what GIGN did was an inbox solution to the problem. comming from the cockpet door where all the the terrorists were. it would have been out of the the box if they had used some other way in, like the rear or windows instead. and the terrorists were expecting the out of the box. its amazing how sometimes a handy trick helps you solving a big problem. being intelligent doesnt mean that you always solve difficult problems. even the easiest are also there to be solved intelligently
