  • I love you Emma, but I think is a little rude to show poor people and models which wear expensive clothes in the same video. I suppose that´s not her fault because she didn't make the video but well... is only my opinion. Despite that, I listened her in other video and she's really smart. People needs more job, not only charity. (sorry for my English)

  • WOW! Excellent, Emma. You're great. I've always allured you. You spent precious moments of ur life by visiting BD, that's incredible. I don' think anyone else would have cared a straw. I mean, you only visited the dirty slums, and met the poor people. There are other places in BD you would have loved!

  • Emma's inner thinking: "by comparison, these people make me look even prettier and I make them look even uglier"

  • Emma's inner thinking. "how much longer do I need to pretend I like being here? Fuck! not a looker in sight; good thing I brought this pocket mirror to remind myself what beauty is.

  • Why is she so perfect?

  • Yo what's that song at the end of this video? Dude goes in...

  • @cuzcatlan36 you're callous!

  • She is so nice and cute many celebrities just help people for FAME and emma really cares of the people and the world

    I <3 YOU EMMA WATSON

  • Im proud of 2 things 1 . emma 2 . Bangladesh

  • Im from bd or bangladesh too:-)!

  • @MrQpee Are you going racist now? If you hate western culture and the bitches in em'. Please stop accessing the internet. CAUSE ITS F-ING WESTERN!

  • Geez!! this video just made her a 100 times hotter!

  • Comment removed

  • @MrQpee Dude, please stop shouting out obscenities when you don't have any freaking idea what you're talking about. Frankly, you're creating a bad image of Bangladesh and Bangladeshis by posting this comment. If not for yourself then at least stop it for our country!

  • @MrQpee what???

  • @MrQpee don't call her a bitch... She loves everyone and she wanted to help people there.. She actually the time out of her days to come to Bangladesh and she's quite famous with the harry potter role and stuff...You should be thankful she did

  • Why do people bitch about famous personalities going to third world countries? I think it I n amazing thing they do. Making their cause known and making some kind of difference.

  • @MrQpee because she cares about the poor people there and decided to help

  • what did she say at 1:10?

  • @Avrilfreaki "We're at Swallows, in Bangladesh."

  • @shelltoye

    oh.. thanks ;)

  • @Avrilfreaki she said were at swallows in Bangladesh

  • emma watson is a gift from god, we should all watch and learn from her

  • I respect Emma for travling to that country. A lot of celebs do parties to raise money or gives it away without thinking.

  • Hey people..relax..chill out..English people once took everything but that's now history..more than 50 years..we are reviving and the irony is that English people are now helping us in reviving..and stop complaining about the rich because power resists your mind from giving a second thought to what is right and what is wrong and plz take a stance..stand up for a cause, for our country..and stop spreading this hatred..there's already too much of it to handle..relax our country is going to make it

  • @Foysal: Mind your language, Try to appreciate other people's work. Apart from your comments? Can you tell me what you have done for your country? I agree with kelly. It's a general statement that all white are bad. Stereotypical comments. It's the hard work, dedication and honesty makes a country firm. However, I feel bad how Bangladesh is portrayed. Although we do have poverty, our country is very beautiful. However here they showed only slums. Where are the good sites?

  • @Inflammable017 You should understand that foreigners are sucking us. They don't want our welfare.

  • Comment removed

  • She looked so pretty in a salwar kameez!

  • We did not need her travel just for showing. I hate all white people. The English once stole wealth from my country. Once we are really wealth. They made us poor. Fucking nation.

  • @foysal13

You hate ALL white people?? That is a very general and broad statement.

  • @kellyhrtsacting89 BOoooooooooooooooooooooooooo... Are you white?

  • @foysal13

That is irrelevant you poor little close minded fool.

  • @foysal13 lololololol

  • @foysal13 You sound stupid, read a book.

  • OH BLOODY HELL I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THAT EMMA CAME TO OUR COUNTRY :D Man those little kids don't even know she's hermione from HARRY POTTER *faints* :'(

  • @Eefa172 Yes....thay do....In a recent interview Emma said that she got recognised by a boy in a slum..

  • @MsNaazish OMG SERIOUSLY <3 awww lucky kid :( how come da kid knws hu she is? he read hp books :O whooaaa daz so cool :D <3

  • hey this is my country. :f

  • My older brother and I were thrilled that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was already leaked. We each saw the whole thing on watchharrypotter . us

  • Can someone explain whats so emazing about Emma W? A regular celeb whos living in top hotels and really dont give a damn about Bangladesh!

Just look at 1:36 it tells me everything. If Emma W wasent there the poor child would have got slapped in the face for not lining up properly.

The reason our people are living like shit is cause

    1. Too much children being born

    2. Not enough Space due to 1.

3.The rich taking everything leeving nothing to the poor.

So who tha hell gives a damn about Emma W?

  • she have a good heart :) i simply <3 how she care for the poor people in bangladesh<3 :DD

  • She inspires me:)

  • She's so much like Hermione :)

  • Its just impossible not to love her and her amazing heart!

  • I appreciate Emma so much. She is such a kind-hearted, caring individual. She truly takes the time to give back to others and believes in making the world a better place. We need more people like her in the world (and more celebrities like her as well!).

  • I love Emma, she's different :)

  • Not only she is young, she got the efforts to make differences in people's life. She is beautiful and clever and famous yet she is willing to learn and see in order to understand how hard some poor and needy people works in order to earn something in their life, and Emma is willing to take a journey to see how these people work so that they can survives. Bless for Emma and The People Tree...

  • that was soo cute when she held the baby :)

  • She's a role model, and she's simple. Look, she's not even complaining there. Not like other actresses who are Bitches.

  • @Patootsky41 You are TOTALY true!

  • The thing I like about her is that she is not doing this for publicity like all those other English actors, she actually knows what she is doing and doesnt care who's watching

  • Cool person and a very cool fashion label. Buy cleen clothes!

  • the 3 ppl who disliked this are twilight fans.

  • emma watson vs selena gomez, pick one. i choose emma! (even tho i love them both)

  • i luv and respect for emma watson doubled just watchinh this...shes as beautiful inside as she is outside :) <3

  • wow she sure helped them, she just looked around and did nothing. She is full of bullshit

  • @DaMichaelRose Whereas you have done what, exactly?

  • @TraffordReds9 a lot more than u and her put together motha fucka

  • @DaMichaelRose Wow, resorting to name-calling already. Very intelligent and mature. You could've just ignored my question, no need to show your backside.

Point is, Watson has brought Fair Trade to the attention of a lot of (esp. young) people who knew nothing about it before. As someone who works with Fair Trade but is frustrated at the levels of ignorance by the general public, I'm grateful for that. If you're not convinced then fine, but your cynicism says more about you than her.

  • @TraffordReds9 fuck off gay boy if u like her so much then go and bum her, evryone fuking likes her. I've got more friends than u and her put together so suck o my cock biatch. U know u havent got one

  • @DaMichaelRose As a girl myself, I'm quite relieved not to have a cock, whereas you're coming off like the type who needs a magnifying glass to find his. What is your problem? You PMS better than any woman I know. Fine, you don't think Watson adds anything to the Fair Trade cause. No need to get your pea-sized bollocks in a twist over it.

  • @TraffordReds9 i have a bigger cock than u, so where is your fagina. On ur face probaly. thats y go all red when u watch lesbian porn and it starts bleeding. In the end u r gay. Iam better than u so fuck ur mum. And if u did try and suck my cock u would choke. Have dat motha fucka

  • @DaMichaelRose LOL. You're making me laugh, now - at you, not with you though. What are you, 10? (No offence to 10 year olds).

  • @TraffordReds9 y r u asking my age u pedofile

  • @DaMichaelRose Ugh, no. I'm younger than you. Just wondering why a 23 year old is acting like a 10 year old throwing a strop. There are more mature ways of talking about Fair Trade. You just seem to want to throw insults around.

Forget Watson, what can you teach us about Fair Trade?

  • @TraffordReds9 that u dont like it and she dont give a shit. I went in the fairtrade campain motha fucka

  • @DaMichaelRose Uh, right. Thanks for that...

  • @TraffordReds9 yeah thanks for the good arguement

  • @DaMichaelRose I know this is NONE of my business, but don't u think you're crossing the limits...

  • @faiyadtwilighthp yes it isnt none of youre business but no I dont thiink i'm crossing limits.

  • i agree with WarrkoS :D

whats the name of the song at the end, pretty awsome :D

  • whats the last song playing? pretty slick tube

  • Is that where they're shooting deathly hallows part 2

  • lol at 3:16

modeling seems like a lot of fun

  • i love you emma thanks for visiting my country

  • Waccv. They live there in poverty but I would like to visit there because the people are amazing. And all this work they do alone - so artistic. I wish - they will live more richly. And respect Weston

  • Emma Watson is so amazing, wish I could've been able to see her when she visited. (selfishly speaking lol)

But dang, respect to her for being such a humanitarian. Is there nothing that isn't magnificent about this girl! MashAllah. =)

  • Respond to this video... It would be perfect when she turn Islam >.<

  • 1:15 ^___^

  • 1:15 :3

  • The word is:Respect

  • awesome job she did...... gotta admire her for that

  • Emma is wonderful.

  • She's amazing. (: Why couldn't there be more Emma Watson's in this world?

  • Emma Watson > Lindsay Lohan

  • I love Emma<3 She is such a kind person to do this<3

  • There are so many celebrities who fashion famous and expensive brand but she's one of those who actually knows how clothes are made and what's it worth for the one who makes it.

  • I'm glad to see having her as a role model was not in vain. I'm a year younger then she is, but even I doubt I'd immerse myself so completely in the charity work I might do with her kind of influence. Good on her, really. More girls should look up to being this kind of beautiful, and not the stereotypical hollywood type. Being smart and caring is beautiful!!

  • emma watson ,you also have to come pakistan...... i like ur love for poor people ....

you look nice in shalwar kameez, our national dress....:)

  • @fatimahira yeah!!!

  • she is role model and she is ideal of mine

  • Wow Emma !! That's so nice of you. You r really a gr8 person.

  • emma you rocks.....all hail emma watson

  • Finally i got an excuse why i am googling "emma watson swallows"

  • This was extremely enlightening.

  • what a lovely girl :)

  • People need to take personal responsibility for their own lives. I am opposed to this type of "socialistic" action.

  • @roughouser13 Did you even watch the video? These people ARE taking responsibility for themselves. They're WORKING, without being exploited by Westerners who want everything cheap and don't care about the human cost at the other end of the production line. See if you can get an education while looking for your heart...

  • nice :)

  • my compliments, its great thats he does things like this

  • kind!

  • LOVE YOU LOVE YOU EMMA

  • Nice! It's caring and nice of Emma Watson to go visit the people who make the People Tree clothing line and to observe how it's made; and even get hands-on herself.. A very nice gesture. She is amazingly talented. Love Emma Watson.

  • hey you did great do you have any plant to do such thing like that once again?

  • hey you did great do you have any plant to do such thing like that once again

  • I am a dude from Bangladesh and it's amazing how half of my generation wont even bother to go through the stuff that Emma did here. Most of us arent even aware how some people are struggling in our country cause we are too busy watching ... guess what ... Harry Potter and such. Respect to Emma. We owe you one. And George Harrison too. Thank you.

  • @maestro723 if i were able to do something, then i would.. but you're right most people are just too damn lazy to do something

  • @maestro723

Good points! I'm a Bangladeshi too btw !

  • OMG !

  • we all watch stars every now and then in some movies, awards etc. and we do admire and appreciate them for their looks and acting..

but this, this thing deserve something more than admiration..

no doubt i'm a huge fan of hers...and literally influenced by her beauty..

but now i respect her for what she did.. i mean she's barely twenty and she's visiting a slum area, something people do when they crossed their forties..

with all the media around them but she did it in secret..

    Deep, India

  • This action is so wanderfull ! *.* My respect for Emma two !!! I cry with this

  • this is a brilliant video, the work she's doing is really great. love her outfits too!

  • Obviously, it does seem a bit hypocritical for a British Company to do this as they colonized them, but that was the British Govt- not the companies.

  • @loopylupin1130 Actually the British East India company first colonised the Indian subcontinent, it was only after the failed 1857 Sepoy mutiny that the British Govt took over with the creation of the Raj.

The British Empire has its foundations in trade. Bangladesh needs to wipe out 3/4 of its population, empower women and build infrastructure/education to develop.

Similar to the way the East Asian tigers have risen, as well as remove religion or lessen its influence on society.

  • @ImaginedWriter wiping out 3/4 of the population isn't really realistic unless you are being sarcastic here. As for the "religion" factor Bangladesh is a fairly moderate country when it comes to that. If people wants to follow it they do ... if they don't, no one stops them.

  • Speaking as someone from that area of the world, I think Emma actually cares, or she wouldn't have gone. She did the work that they were doing so she could feel the labor that it takes to make all of those clothes. People Tree is a fair trade organization, so those workers will get the amount of money they deserve from their work, as opposed to 5 cents an hour.

  • I say abra cadabra

  • so i have a slight suspicion that sending emma watson to help indian women with laundry and teach math to 8-year old kids living in the slums won't change much..

i hope i'm not offending anyone, but this is my honest opinion.

and by the way, i'm saying all this as a harry potter fan. i think emma watson is beautiful and amazing as anyone.

(i think youtube is completely worthless if used to automatically bash anyone who has a different or more radical opinion from the majority)

  • @loonycushion It's got us talking about it, hasn't it?That's the first step in changing people's perceptions and educating them. Rather than being cynical about this, let's be greatful Fair Trade is getting some much needed publicity.

  • @loonycushion I'm not trying to be critical or anything but may I ask a question? Why would Emma Watson go on her own and publicize people tree as much as she can? I truly beleive SHE is trying to help. whether the rest of the world is or isn't i don't know, but I think she honestly is trying? why don't you? again not trying to be m=rude I'm just curious :)

  • first colonise them and ruin their cultures and political systems, suck out as much of their resources as possible, and now we feel guilty so send beautiful english girls from london to help them.. and making videos and documentaries about that, so that we can go back to our cozy little houses in london, paris, new york with our consciences cleaned. i find that not quite right..... until we won't change the whole money-hungry capitalistic system controlled by the North, most of this is worthless

  • @loonycushion I fear you live in a world full of pink bubbles. how should the capitalistic system be changed? I think it's the best system...it sucks balls but compared to something like communism that doesn't work at all anywhere it's still the best alternative that we have. I only see this changing if someone comes up with a clearly better alternative that works for human race. and I dont see that happening in the next couple of years, sorry.

  • there's something great and something not quite right about it.. beautiful, stylish emma watson going to india to show what a good and charitable person she is.. and then the photoshoot at the end of beautiful western people posing to help poor indians.. why not use indian models?.. i don't know, i'm not saying that what she's doing isn't for the great good.. but i just find it incredibly condescending and even degrading the way the west is helping poor countries in the third world..

  • @loonycushion It's BANGLADESH, not India. And it's about fair Trade.

What do you suggest? How else do you think the Fair Trade message can be spread?

    TraffordReds9 1 second ago

  • she is so pretty! she got style and class!

  • thank god they have emma watson over there to help them wash there clothes...

  • Woaaah She loooked Gorgeous in the shoot !!
