Not necessarily. A regular civilian can purchase these kinds of rifles without any military experiences. It all depends on the area they live in, however. Some people may need special licenses, others don't.

If you like ACOG's you should check out the magnifiers for eotechs. Not sure if you have seen them, but you can even get a mount for the magnifier to flip to the side, and your sight stays zeroed. Great Video

Rock River is running months behind in orders...Best chance is the gun shows, and there's not a lot to chose from, I see AR15s going 300 to 500 over list before King Obama got elected..Another reason to hate Obama..Buy ammo before they put a big tax on it..I like AR15 9mm, they are half the price to shoot and you can bump fire from shoulder very easy because of blow back system is different..Not as hard to find now..Rock river the best for bump..

Sure you can. Now all you have to do is go to the store and buy it. I think it's going to be pretty tuff though, can't find these in the shops nor online these days.

You can get the same thing made by Bushnell for 239 at opticsplanet. It doesn't have the protective shield but if you want to pay 160 for a piece of metal go ahead. It is literally the same thing, made by same company.

I recently picked up a new DPMS AP4 in 5.56mm/.223 with an A3 upper and military contour barrel (M203 GL cut out). I plan on mounting either an Eotech or Aimpoint red dot sight on top... I actually favor the Aimpoint just for it's simple, small red dot rather than Eotech's crosshair reticle. Good vid - 5 stars.

both my ARs are at my friends...he likes it more than me...I've never really cared for the noise it makes because the spring is at the butt stock. I think next time I'll just get a gas piston upper. But I have no clue what I'm gonna be doing with it. .223 ammo cost more than x39
Adam Arms makes a nice gas system...I've been thinking about getting a kit. .223 is expensive now, I do tend to shoot the AK47 more now..it's cheaper.

Yes, it's a Noveske. And they are made for SBRs. However, they're effective on the carbine length as well...controls flash consistently. A small, but good investment.
I've ordered one of these and I'm totally stoked about it. Should have it in about 8 weeks. Never owned any semi auto rifle, but I made a lot of comparisons and stuff before hand. This thing shoots a 1 MOA at 100yds, it has a 2 stage match trigger (the best I've seen on any AR), and I just love it. Mine in $900 before accessories, but it blew away stuff that ran about $300 more. I love the EOtech sight too.
They're too totally different rifles. I don't like the AK any better than the AK. Contact Arsenal Inc in reference to the AK finish, it's got a life time warranty

It goes like this, if you can get a colt, then get it, it's a great rifle. DPMS is bottom of the barrel type ar's, basically it's a no go. Rock River is definitely better than Bushmaster, hands down.

Nice rifle, RRA is probably the best off the shelf AR-15 you can purchase. Those CAA buttstock welds actually make the stock look identical to the choate stocks, saves a lot of money as well.
I'm with you on the EOTech, ACOG's are nice but they're extremely overpriced. My only regret is getting the 511 model instead of the 512, battery life on those smaller batteries blows ass.
Thanks and we're on the same page. The battery doesn't last very long but I have a place I get the "N" batteries for cheap. I elected to get the 511 because the housing was shorter. The 512 uses "AA" batteries but the housing is longer. It's all up to preference.

Thanks! The whole rifle in general isn't cheaply made at all. It surpasses Bushmaster by a long shot. The D.E.A. wouldn't be using it if it were cheap of cheaply made. Colt makes a great rifle, I can't say anything against Colt in the least.

Thanks!I paid about 890.00 for the rifle bone stock. With all the upgrades that you can see see in my other video...it's about 2300.00. It is registered as a semi-automatic so it isn't shooting full auto. You can take it hunting but it depends on what you want to shoot. Me, I don't like hunting. I do want to get a shorter barrel for it and register it as an SBR. However, at the moment..I'm setting up the rifle up for long range applications. I'll be posting a new video soon of the rifle with the upgrades I've made...once again stay tuned.
My RRA has only locked up on me one time and one time only. It didn't FTE when I was shooting .223 through it. It only had FTEs when I installed the 22 conversion kit. After I smoothed out the kinks in the kit, it worked flawlessly. I've shot Colts, Sigs, Bushmaster, Stag Arms, DPMS...ask me if I would change my rifle? Hell no!
Nice AR. I have a question about the CAA Stock Saddle. I have a RRA Elite CAR A4, and I added a tactical sling to it. Will the stock saddle still allow the sling to attach to the collapsible stock?
The saddle will still allow you to use a tac sling. It has two oval loops, one on either side to accommodate a sling. It also has two tubular compartments to store batteries for let's say a flash light, Eotech etc.

I got sicjk and tired of taking different batteries for every device.
My GPS, flashlight, walkitalkies,radio, lamps all of them run on AA rechargable batteries.

I like it fine. I always research anything I'm thinking of purchasing. I don't like throwing my well earned money away. It's a well made product for a decent price.

both my ARs are at my friends...he likes it more than me...I've never really cared for the noise it makes because the spring is at the butt stock. I think next time I'll just get a gas piston upper. But I have no clue what I'm gonna be doing with it. .223 ammo cost more than x39

Adam Arms makes a nice gas system...I've been thinking about getting a kit. .223 is expensive now, I do tend to shoot the AK47 more now..it's cheaper.

I love rock river lowers. I got a car lower with the 2 stage nm trigger, but I chose to go with a stag tactical upper.

I'm going the other way around. I'm going with a basic stag lower half and than a DTI, RRA or sabre upper.

my speakers are jacked up on my pc so i couldnt hear but Is that the Noveske muzzle device? If so how do you like it? i've been thinking of putting it on my m4a3 bushmaster patrolman's carbine. it has a 16.5inch barrel and i've heard those muzzle devices were for shorter barrels. Just wondering on what someone with one thought. sweeet gun tho. thanks!

Yes, it's a Noveske. And they are made for SBRs. However, they're effective on the carbine length as well...controls flash consistently. A small, but good investment.

I've ordered one of these and I'm totally stoked about it. Should have it in about 8 weeks. Never owned any semi auto rifle, but I made a lot of comparisons and stuff before hand. This thing shoots a 1 MOA at 100yds, it has a 2 stage match trigger (the best I've seen on any AR), and I just love it. Mine in $900 before accessories, but it blew away stuff that ran about $300 more. I love the EOtech sight too.

Do you like your Arsenal Ak or the RR AR-15 better?
For me, I go with the AR-15, Mine is a S&W M&P15x....after 1500rds, still no FTF or FTE.
BTW I have a Arsenal SLR106 but the 'paint' is flaking like crazy.

They're too totally different rifles. I don't like the AK any better than the AK. Contact Arsenal Inc in reference to the AK finish, it's got a life time warranty

Hey Kervyn sweet weapon!! I just ordered the same weapon but I ordered the A3 carry handle. I've read ALOT about th AR-15s and see that Rock River is one of the best so I had to have one. I used to have a Colt CAR-15 SP-1 years back. Bought it back in 1990 for $500! Can't touch them for that price now. lol I've enjoyed all your videos and you have some nice weapons as well. It goes like this, if you can get a colt, then get it, it's a great rifle. DPMS is bottom of the barrel type ar's, basically it's a no go. Rock River is definitely better than Bushmaster, hands down.

Nice rifle, RRA is probably the best off the shelf AR-15 you can purchase. Those CAA buttstock welds actually make the stock look identical to the choate stocks, saves a lot of money as well.
I'm with you on the EOTech, ACOG's are nice but they're extremely overpriced. My only regret is getting the 511 model instead of the 512, battery life on those smaller batteries blows ass.

Thanks and we're on the same page. The battery doesn't last very long but I have a place I get the "N" batteries for cheap. I elected to get the 511 because the housing was shorter. The 512 uses "AA" batteries but the housing is longer. It's all up to preference.

Thanks! The whole rifle in general isn't cheaply made at all. It surpasses Bushmaster by a long shot. The D.E.A. wouldn't be using it if it were cheap of cheaply made. Colt makes a great rifle, I can't say anything against Colt in the least.

Thanks!I paid about 890.00 for the rifle bone stock. With all the upgrades that you can see see in my other video...it's about 2300.00. It is registered as a semi-automatic so it isn't shooting full auto. You can take it hunting but it depends on what you want to shoot. Me, I don't like hunting. You're not a noob for asking questions, you're just trying to get a little info is all. Thanks again for the questions.

I do want to get a shorter barrel for it and register it as an SBR. However, at the moment..I'm setting up the rifle up for long range applications. I'll be posting a new video soon of the rifle with the upgrades I've made...once again stay tuned.

My RRA has only locked up on me one time and one time only. It didn't FTE when I was shooting .223 through it. It only had FTEs when I installed the 22 conversion kit. After I smoothed out the kinks in the kit, it worked flawlessly. I've shot Colts, Sigs, Bushmaster, Stag Arms, DPMS...ask me if I would change my rifle? Hell no!

Nice AR. I have a question about the CAA Stock Saddle. I have a RRA Elite CAR A4, and I added a tactical sling to it. Will the stock saddle still allow the sling to attach to the collapsible stock?

The saddle will still allow you to use a tac sling. It has two oval loops, one on either side to accommodate a sling. It also has two tubular compartments to store batteries for let's say a flash light, Eotech etc.
