Gyahhh! I hate watching this part! If only Yoda and Co. accepted Ani, if only they got rid of the whole "Love is forbidden" thing, the whole series could have been made obsolete! Ani and Padme could have been married openly, Anakin could have gotten the support he needed during his obsession over his visions... Luke and Leia could have had a real family! *sobs

I think Anakin's part as the Chosen One means he is part of the Light with some feelings of the dark side mixed in, thus bringing balance not only to the force by killing Palpatine, but also having balance at the end of the movie series to himself.

If Samuel killed Palpatine he would've became a sith because you cant kill an unarmed opponent, it makes them evil. But yeah I see what you're saying. If the Jedi council was a little more weary on what to do if the Sith came back rather than "oh fuck it they're gone and they wont be back" then maybe they wouldn't of gotten overthrown. And about Anakin, his father was a Sith, Darth Plagueis, so he was born evil. I think no matter what he would've turned anyway and destroyed the sith.

Darth Plagueis could create midi chlorians to make life. he wanted to make the most powerful sith. when Palpatine found out, he killed Plagueis cause he didn't want to be replaced. But, Palpatine was too late. Anakin has the highest rating of medichlorians in the galaxy. making him the most powerful sith/jedi ever. thats why palpatine watched over him all those years so he could turn him to the darkside. Darth Plagueis is the creator of Anakin.

@alienfoux i know this is like 5 months late but oh well lol, if Windu killed palpatine he wouldnt become a sith himself because palpatine was too strong regardless if he was unarmed. i've always known plagueis was anakins father, just makes the most sense but my question for you is why do you think plagueis choose shmi skywalker ? and anakin did destroy the sith in the end, he was always the chosen one
