@xXKE5HAXx You plug your phone in the computer via the usb cable you got when you bought it. When the box pops up, select usb storage/mass storage/or whatever it is for your specific phone. Then just copy z4root and put it in your phones files.(Could be drive E or F or ect. depending on where you plug it in.)

It's not working on my Galaxy S 4G. I've been waiting for over an hour for it to get past the "exploiting" part, then the phone just started vibrating over and over and Z4root force closed.

I also can't get it to work using the computer method since the computer won't recognize my phone. I've downloaded the drivers, but it won't work. What am I doing wrong? It was so easy with the LG MyTouch. I don't see why it has to be this hard with this phone.

@carseatmama688 All phones are different. This method will not work with newer phones because it is somewhat old. Go to the xdk developers forums and they could probably help.
