lol damn. I bought a 92' Foxbody GT hatchback for $4000. Had 65k original miles, 5 spd, needed paint work, someone had keyed the shit out of it. Now, after 3 months of work and $5000 later she is done. $9,000 all together and the car is practically brand new.

well..it's pretty much a stock 306 block other than a "trick flow" street heat intake, i converted the car to "mass air" with an A9L comp. and installed a 76mm Mass Air Meter. as far as the motor goes...i kept the stock heads and cam. thats about the only thing i didn't replace as far as performance parts.

I owned 2 87 GTs back in 87.

I worked for a ford dealer at the time and recieved my first one on Aprils fool. I totaled the first one in about a month.Picked up a second one with the insurance money and that one was eventually repossesed when I went to college. 20 years has past and I am in a much better place. I will be purchasing another GT soon. The new cars that I have owned since then may outperform that old GT, but I miss the sound of that V8 and the feeling of the rear end busting loose.
