there was a documentary made for TV in 1998 on craig button called Armed & Missing. I think this aired on discovery channle in 1999 but strangly it's nowhere to be found on YT or the internet.

Its just an observation but preparation is everything.

No connection between the throttle and the rudder; one should hope not. But there are connections between the controls and the respective surfaces or components to be controlled. To save weight wires were introduced in certain places. Some movements are computer controlled or perhaps assisted is a better term. It seems a little odd that he would say that about the throttle and the rudder. It shows a great lack of knowledge of flight systems. Throttle = Engines.

@Sixalienasa Fly by wire does not mean actual fly by wires all inputs go into a computer and the computer tells the control surfaces what to do...

Dear John letters do tend to make soldiers commit suicide. However whos to say who really wrote the letter. In my opinion the true cause of this guys death would be to easy to cover up. I would definitly buy the official story if I didnt know any better.

This is how things get blown out of proportion. I worked this incident. There was nothing classified about this. No UFO no nothing. What pisses me off is how much other info is out there that makes real situations look like fakes. Do some real research before making conclusions like this!

the F-16 was the first military fly by wire aircraft,the A-10 in not a fly by wire plane,also the A-10 is really a low-teah plane,it's only been afew years since they were even upgraded with FLIR-before the upgrade they would fly looking threw the missle seeker camera with night vision capability-threw a tv monitor in the cockpit

As a A-10 fan,I 'm pretty sure its not a Fly-By-Wire control system.

A-10s were from

Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz- NOT

It is baffling - but When I served in the AF there

were plenty of "borderline types" Button just happened to be a pilot. Airmen would get all wound up and take it out on themselves or fellow Airmen, or worse.

I believed he killed himself over a girl.

Its happened too many times.

You have GOT to be kidding me. Craig Button committed suicide. My dad was a part of his squadron at the time. He was even part of the search party.

Button stole an A-10 and crashed it into a mountain because he was having emotional problems.

This "expert" is a total fucking idiot. I hope you don't actually believe him.
