@and1amai well if you want to be able to chat then you WILL need to have the white wire connected to both the headset and the controller. But if you DONT want to talk then yeah u dont need it(obviously) and you can pull it and just listen to in game audio.

Okay, I have a newer model samsung than you do. A fourty-six inch, lcd? And I don't have the normal component slots like you do. I literally only have the HD hook ups and then two RED/WHITE hookups beside those. o- o; I can't get my turtle beach to work on those, tried just about everything. Oh, I use an HDMI cable, too. Can you help me out?

@xNikkiNicotinex yeah in this vid i was only showing the normal RCA (red yello white) cable setup

i was going to make a HDMI one but i never had time and for HDMI my TV has that support

Look in the back of your tv for 2 outputs called: Digital Output what this does is that you can hear ANYTHING showing on your TV screen in your x31s and ur done

So connect the white and red cable in the appropriate output

But i dont have to connect the headset to the tv or? i can take the av cable from the x box and plug it into the headset cable and then to the transmitter so that i only have sound on the headset...

@Mr125Freak i dont think thats possible, only way is if you remove HDMI and us AV and put settings to 720P thats all i can say :/

Its impossible since first of all you wont be able to connect the AV cables to the xbox

2nd of all if you put it on another component you wont get sound and that wouldnt just work out lol

Hey, i want to buy the x 31 but I'm afraid that it does not work. So i have a tv which dont have an audio out...my x box i connect via hdmi to my tv.... now i have the adapter which is in the x box packaging...you know it? on the one side is scart and on the other side is av (red,white,yellow) can i connect the headset via this connection? so... xbox is connected via hdmi then i take the av cable and put in the back of the headset cable...red and white cable and then to the transmitter..

Its weird that your HDTV does not have an AUDI out since almost every television that are HDTV have and audio out.And no i dont think its possible . IF youd like to, ill make a HDMI version of the X31 Setup so you can have a look of what the Audio Out looks like. Theres a RED and WHITE port and it says audio out on top of it it. Usually theres a white scare arround it, Check it out and if you need any more help PM me or comment.
