Jefferson county has not changed. I grew up there in the late 70's early 80's. Guns were everywhere. No wonder I have a natural affinity to guns. I even remember guns and gun racks in trucks at Northwest High School. I cannot imagine how we kept from killing each other back then. Too back the area has not changed.

That first guy with the rifle was a jackass in the way he shot it. Didn't even shoulder it properly and then looked like he was putting it aside, deciding that he didn't like it.

That weapon is a German K-98 bolt action rifle. The bolt was a little tight and required me to pull the weapon down in order to operate the bolt and eject the spent catridge.

I found with bolt action rifles, really scrub the chamber to loosen that bolt up. The dirty chamber is causing the spent cartridge to stick in the chamber.
