@stsjuenger, maybe, you did this, but look, the shown car is a 313CDI, that means 2.160 kg empty weight, fully loaded 3.500kg. Your 213 CDI is not so heavy, fully loaded maximum 2.800kg, so you can go faster with the same engine. The maximum speed I reached with my 313 CDI Maxi Sprinter fully loaded was 161 km/h. I had a second possibility to proof the speed, cause my GPS shows the speed, too. The tacho reached 170 km/h, the GPS showed 161 km/h. Sprinter rules the world of transportation. Yeah!

Sprinters are good trucks. I drive a 416CDI ambulance weighing 4.2t unladen and it is limited to 90mph. Much more nicer to drive and buckets more torque than the old 311's we had. We've also got a few 616's.

How come all you Mercedes drivers think 160 KM/h is fast? It's not fast... I own a Plymouth Voyager, a piece of shit American van, and I've gotten it up to 185 KM/h. It's stock too. Sometimes I think you Sprinter fans don't know what true speed it...sorry, but it's true. I even saw a guy on YouTube with a video about how he got his Sprinter up to 110 KM/h. Your silly plymouth voyager is a CAR/MiniVan. It weighs less, and is built for speed/comfort of people.

The Mercedes Sprinter is a Commercial Vehicle designed to carry large and heavy loads. It's the fastest of all commercial vehicles, which is why drivers are happy if it goes fast, over 130km/h.

If YOU want to see real speed, search for any fast car such as a Porsche or something, else shut up and don't make silly comments. Its pointless.

when they tested that vehicle, it went about 230 KMH fully loaded. Due to safety reasons they put a different transmission in that slows it down. The engine will go to 200 with ease but the transmission won't.

ITS KMH ..... kilometers per hour.....in mph is this : 99,41mph .... its calculate : 1kmh is 0.62mph....my sprinter run 170KMH (105mph)......its not "fast"....lol......its german^^
