Lets face it, the sound is what made EE great, not just the music but the unit responces, blasting, swords and others, even the dreadful dying screams are well made, overall the game is great until WW1 and after! Not shure about the later epochs, they are a bit neglected, it was a bit overkill I think. They should have made it the Renaissance to be the final epoch, also walls are way to easily consctucted, you can trap an entire army in movement if you know what ur doing. Navy battles were EPIC!

@knifed91 The later eras are what makes Empire Earth better than any other RTS game you'll find, cause no other game is so huge, yet so old. I personally think it's the video that shows the major eras of the game that made it so cool, cause it's just so well done. This game has always been in my top 10.

@bengacris The first one was fairly easy, as long as you made an alliance with the surrounding cities Rostov and Saratov as soon as possible. The second was quite annoying the first time through, as I didn't expect nukes, cybers, infantry and what not storming my base every couple of minutes. Defense was my top priority in a lot of the missions. When everything on the home-front is sorted out,I build up task squads to take out enemy defenses,then I move in for the kill with a large scale attack.

@islamgood1243123 Which part(s)did you 'suck' at exactly? Just want to compare it to how I did it, and give you a brief description on what you could do. FAQ's for me are too long to understand what to do clearly. Of course,if you don't have the game anymore, then I feel sorry for you.The best games I ever played,and was relatively known in the Multiplayer community. Good times...I missed all the City-builder game types,which no one hosts anymore...all my EE friends dispersed to god knows were.

I loved this game when I was young. I would spend hours online and in scenario editor. When EE2 was set to come out I was so excited, I thought it was going to be exactly like EE1 but with better graphics and more units are whatever. I was wrong and disappointed, I hated EE2 and ended up playing EE1 instead. The core gameplay, and soundtrack, is better than most other games I have played. Someone just needs to give it a graphical upgrade.
