If you're going to post a review, you might want to read the instructional manual of the device you're reviewing. That way, you wouldn't be using a screwdriver to open the SD card slot.

Take the battery cover off first then it's quite easy to open the SD card slot.

After being on my iPhone I had a go on this because my ex worker in a phone shop and it is like going back about a hundred steps. The interface is quite confusing for someone who has never used it before and then it sometimes goes from their own interface to some Windows Mobile screen which is just inconsistent. There are many touch screen phones I would use before this, even the LG Viewty. Most of the time you will end up using the stylus. I am not being an Apple fanboy, but who wants a stylus?

But by chance if you wanted to dable in a phone that is basically your PC in a pocket, run a Windows Mobile Device ! ! ! ! They do all the iphone can do but with the flexability of doing everything else your PC can..........

I've had my HTC since the beginning. I took it to Romania, bought a chip it worked... It has worked where others didn't. It is tough. It has contacts, schedules, notes and more. I play games, music and movies. It works with the 4 gig card. I used it in Romania, the Ukraine, Greece, Spain... It has a backup that allows you to protect your data . Oh yeah and when one battery dies you can toss in a new one... try that with an IPhone. Iphones are for tools, the touch is a tool. Battery cost $4 USD.

HTC is crap. 200mhz processor = SLOW

64 mb ram 128 mb of rom = weak

and the "swipe" functions makes the thing lag like hell, it doesnt even feel like the iphones interface.

and besides, you can substitute whatever you like for the iphone, but at the end of the day its still not an iphone.

well...telts see, i got a cdma version of the touch, that is 400mhz processor, 128mb ram and 256mb rom, i can run things that my friend never even dreamed of on his iphone. you just can't compare this with an iphone. an htc it's a pda that does everything, iphone is just a phone with a cool media player.

why do you care about proccesor speed and ram in a phone? just as long as the phone was designed to run smoothly with the processor and ram/rom (with maybe some multitasking) then alls good. But yeah, your right. doesnt replace iphone at all. ive never used the htc, but just wathcing this made me think how much it lagged while swiping the photos and how bad the design looked compared to iphone. intresting, cause i prob would b raving bout this phone if iphone didnt exist. ha

i have the HTC touch dual and it is well better. i dont know if you guys have it but its nice. i live in britain so we can get it but only on contract. the memory card slot has been fixed on the touch dual. but you still have trouble getting the card in and out, i had to use the stylus.

omg, are they sponsored by apple? HTC touch far beats the iphone in its functionality. HTC has windows mobile wich allows you to use 3th party applications. No way you'll get Opera, Internet Explorer or Firefox in your iphone... The card expansion slot is better than apple's; you can NOT expand the memory of your iphone... I got another 8 gb plugged in allready ;) Perfectly for the large TomTom maps and all my music and games :D
