Mines in the post and should be with me by mid next week and man am i stocked but we haven't got the weather to fly but i don't care i can still drool over her lol. 5*
@diegotsqui not at all if you have the bind and fly versions with Spectrum TXs but on the RTF versions you will ahve to make sure you get different channel aircraft
Even though I was the first customer to fly the new BL P-51, I didn't get one until last night (my early birthday present). I did 6 flights on it today, and it was AWESOME!!! Handled way better than the Corsair & T-28 IMHO. Easy to launch, easy to land, nice speed (very scale), good vertical. Couldn't ask for more from a nice $160 plane!!!
If you can fly the corsair, you will be able to fly the mustang. The corsair might be a tad bit slower before tip stalling though, so be carefull with your approaches and dont slow down alot until you get a feel for the stall charicteristics of the mustang. The narrow wingtips are great for speed, and garbage for slow.
I don't actually work for them. The bluenose P-51s are the old ones that I painted. you can see better pics of them on RC Groups, look for user name "Moonbeam", and see my blog.
can you purchase a four blade prop for it to give a more scale appearance. great looking plane. I guess i'll have to get me one when i master my beginner planes.
Not sure of the actual top speed, since we flew it in heavy wind. But it well out ran the old P-51. I had to land my old one because it was having a hard time with the wind. The new one cut right through without any problem. and it flew VERY stable and smooth.
Having to do extra work to get the rutter to work on the Parkzone Mustang is nonsense.
