I don't know if you this already but, the kid version of this is cheaper than the womens version. The same size and same product ingrediants, but I've heard the kids line is a bit heavier with the sweet smell. So thats something you might want to consider.
My hair is 4b also. Just make sure you hair is really wet and I find that using the Curls Milkshake underneath worked well to add a little length and moisture.
KCCC is better for me only because I get up to 7 days of wear. I got about 3 days of wear from the Gel-Les-C. Both are great, but KCCC gives me a stronger hold.
I'm sorry, this product made my hair so dry, and I winded up giving it to my friend. It doesn't even compare to kccc, because kccc is much more superior.
I actually like these results better than the KCCC. Your hair is gorgeous when you use both products, but your hair looks like perfection forreal in this vid. :)

It defines my curls and it feel so light and clean. Maybe I just need to keep it simple for the summer and go back to heavy creams and puddings for the winter. I don't know but my head is not feeling right. I think the quesnch spray don't agree with me.

Hey, I washed and deep conditioned with the ectasy, a left a little bit in, because my hair doesn't like conditioner sitting on it, I then put on some of the moitsrizing leave inspray, bad idea for some reason this product just doesn't owrk for me, it made my hair knot up so I couldnt really run my finger through as good to apply the gel lec's

Yes, leave in more of the Ecstasy Conditioner. The Whipped Cream is also a styling product so I don't think the WC will work as well as just conditioner or the MilkShake. I used a generous amount of Milkshake and I DID NOT need a lot of the Gel'les-C at all!

When I use KCCC, I DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON MY HAIR AT ALL. I wrap wrap my satin scarf on my pillowcase and that is it. I don't even have to rewet in the morning. I am an active tosser and turner while I sleep and this product STILL hold up my style! If I do have some frizzies (after about 3 or 4 days), I spritz with water and smooth thefrizzy area (or spritz with KC Spiral Spritz). Hope this helps. Please note, I use a LOT of KCCC so it has the holding power I need.

This product is way better than KKCC! As, it doesn't leave the hair crunchy and dehydrated afterwards. Instead the Gel-les'c leaves the hair feeling soft with a flexible-still able to run your fingers through your hair- hold.

I ordered some more Curls Ecstasy Deep Conditioner and asked for a sample of the Gel-Les'C and a sample of the Goddess Glaze. Have not used the Glaze yet! If you order from curls, you can get up to 3 samples depending on how much you spend.
The KCCC definitely keeps my style longer, but the Gel-Les'C was easy to apply and I got these results OUTSIDE of the shower. This product has a very soft, nice hold! Not sure if using more will set the style longer - plus no crunchiness!

I think it beats fantasia because there are no cones in it. I like that it has aloe vera as the main ingredient and also coconut milk which my hair loves. It has a TON of great natural ingredients that are certified organic. I got it from the curls website (see description box).

If I had answered this question yesterday, it might have been about even, but today, after sleeping on it, I did have to spritz it a little to refresh it. NEVER have to do that with KCCC until after 5 days or so! With that said, the short answer is KCCC is still my favorite only because of the (hard, Crunchy lol) hold. Style lasts a week with no maintenance with KCCC! This product is my second fav and beats Fantasia gel HANDS DOWN!

The elongation was INCREDIBLE, but the style only lasted 2 days before I had to re-wet it! Still a worthy product nonetheless!

I am on the east side - Roseville! I was a west-sider, but I LOVE being on the eastside! ;) Hair products are so cheap on this side of town! lol

That Oops Milkshake made my hair so slick! Much more so than regular Milkshake. That helped the Gel-Les'C apply evenly I think!

I haven't seen you do a product review in a while.
Your hair looks great! My hair kind of looks like yours when I have alot of product in it.
I usually look at the curlz products with a bit of scorn, (accept for the cleansing cream) but this looks like something worth trying.

I would have done the application process as well, but I honestly thought I was going to run out of product! That little sample size has about 2 applications for my thick nappy head. Usually a sample size only works for 1 application on me! lol

No. I actually applied it to wet sections OUTSIDE the shower. I did not need the weight of the water running off my hair to get the result. Just not sure how long it will last yet - but am very impressed overall! I did get a little more shirnkage than with KCCC, but Gel-Les'C was a lot easier to apply.
