  • Hey i been on an amtrak from San Jose CA to Reno Nv, and from car its 5 hr.s to Reno but by the train it was 8 hr.s so dont use Amtrak if U are doin the same thing

  • NO TRAIN

  • same ones near my house.

  • I like those signals.

  • On the gate going down on your side at the start of the video, why is one light different from the rest?

  • great filming very atmospheric

  • why u ppls care about train crossings signals there just there as saftey No offense to any1 who likes em; im just here for the trains

  • That's basically the same question as why do railfans like trains? Your answer would probably be because there are different locomotives, cars, MOW, etc. Same thing here. There are different lights sizes, bells, gates, etc.

  • i love trains but dont care bout crossings

  • i mean really no offense

but who gives a damn about the crossing (no offense)

I love trains had time to check out crossings but

    the trains man

    !!

    arent they some how important!

  • There are some crossings that are rather impressive, like the one on Hulen Street in Fort Worth, Texas.

  • I agree with Caltrain927.

  • I have been to and through that crossing many times over the years. I have ridden the Zephyr through that crossing and I have done a track sice vid of the Zephyr at that crossing. Do you know what day of the week or year this vid was shot? Reason I am asking is that I may know the crew who was working this train.

  • This was taken March 06, 2007.

  • the first gate light is LED and it flashes twice, while the other one is incandescent.

  • The LED Gate light is a Aurora Gate LED.

  • but why does it strobe?

  • Beats me.

  • I believe these bells are WCH1.5?

  • They sound like type 2 to me. I'm going to ask Patrick.

  • Cool! Thank you! I'm Looking For a New Camera. Thanks.

  • What is The Make and Model of this Camera? Thank you.

  • It's a Kodak Easyshare CX7430.
