I love y'all, great music! I found you from your great covers, now I'm getting into the original stuff too. I'll be honest though -- it's still the rap I love the most. Some issues in the comments:

1. You can buy covers, singers can normally get the rights to sing songs other people write.

2. Buying vs. downloading: 1999 called, said CD's are dumb. I buy AND download mp3s from amazon, kickstarter, bandcamp and itunes. If there's no download I'll pirate, artists that hate money aren't my prob!

On that note, everyone should check out the band Russian Circles. This isn't an advertisement for them, just a suggestion from one music lover to another. If you read this and buy in at all to what I'm talking about, then you might really like this band. I maintain that their debut album, "Enter", taken as a whole, is the greatest piece of music ever written.  I've never heard anything like it. By far the best instrumental songwriting I've come across, and I've searched A SHITLOAD. Cheers.

I'm always hoping when I open these acoustic videos that there will be a setup like you guys, but there would be no singing, just original, creative, instrumental songwriting. It's so easy for a solid singer with a nice vocal melody to simply hide behind four chords and then call it a song. I'm not saying this is Karmin; I think Karmin has that extra something that you just have to feel, you can't learn it. But I've never understood why no one cares about instrumental music...

While I think all of your material is fantastic, I'm particularly digging this tune. Probably due to a combination of the solid groove and the fact that I recently had some very similar sentiments about 23. Would you consider arranging some of your originals for a larger band?
