  • I wouldn't be jumping in the water with a shark on purpose! It was bad enough when i wasn't expecting it. Got stuck on wrong side of Great Keppel Island with my kids and couldn't get round the rocks so i swan kids climbed. 45min later heard a splash and 2 fins out of the water between me & rocks, I froze kids had to convince me to come in to the rocks.Unfortunately it was sunset & my toe was cut and i was on top of reef. Never again even if it's only a black tip reefy.

  • Oceanic White Tip Sharks following the whales that were videod at the beginning. Not reef sharks at all. Camera person really shat themselves at the end...funny

  • those weren't reef sharks, it's white tipped ocean sharks... doesn't look like the sharks are agitated in any way so why did he swim away semi panicky in the end? idiots...

  • let's see if i were swimming wherever they are (which i probably won't even go in the water in the first place)and see a couple of sharks i wouldn't be going towards them like the camera man (jackass)i would swim the hell outta there.

  • That's why YOU shouldn't swim with sharks.

If you take off, they get attracted. If you move towards them they tend to move away.

  • actually, its just the type of swimming stroke you do. sometimes injured fish do a bit of gulping and struggling against the water which makes a similar sound to how humans swim(doggy paddle etc,.), which confuses the sharks so they go after you, thinking you're an injured fish.

but if you swim breast stroke, they ignore you. because... you don't sound like a bleeding fish.

  • The stroke is irrelevant.

If the shark comes toward you, you stand your ground or swim toward the shark, not away from them.

  • try saying that to someone who's been studying sharks for eight years.

anyways, the shark has poor eyesight.

  • Then you should study more.

Like Blue sharks, Oceanic white tips have VERY good eyesight.

  • i repeat, tell that to someone who's had eight years of experience with sharks. you're probably right about the eyesight thing, but not about swimming towards it. sharks can hear you from miles away and if you sound like a fish struggling, the shark will obviously confuse you for food. it's logic, my friend.

  • You don't have a clue.

Miles away? We're talking about ones right next to you. This shark was not agitated, yet the cameraman fled backwards from the shark. Which instinctively attracts aggressive sharks.

I dive with sharks, "my logical friend".

  • sharks have sensitive hearing dumbass.

don't get angry over the internet. you're not proving yourself worthy of anything.

i'm not reading any of your future comments because you fail in life. have a nice day you fuck!

  • I dive with sharks, you sit on the sofa.

    Who's failed in life?

  • What are we? Four now? Grow up guys. SERIOUSLY.

  • @CarMoves you die in sea, i live on the sofa.

    who waste his life ?

  • @akon210 -- you live on the sofa -- you're already dead inside.

  • @CarMoves "dead inside"!!!!! why !.....if i don't dive with sharks i'm dead inside .lol

  • Sharks are unpredictable

  • I would so shit my pants or something. How can you tell the shark will not attack?Everybody looks like chil hanging around soms sharks

  • Because the shark isn't making jerky darting movements, he's pretty relaxed.

  • White Tip Reef Sharks Are Dangerous There Nice Lookin But VERY VERY Un-predictable.

  • nice !
