This is a young band, and this is a very complicated show. the only time we actually halt completely is twice in the first movement for more than about 16 counts...i think. also marching in 11/8, the drumline switching drums, having a giant, exposed, 17-person 32-second note split in the 2nd movement, only one drum major (:/) the fact we can pull it off is impressive enough if you ask me.

It's so freakishly weird to see Naperville North do a show that doesn't feel like it's chock-full of fun. In fact, it's as if they aren't even pomegranates anymore...*sighs* This is one of those times where I miss either seeing 'Extra Extra!', or simply being a part of 'The Sounds of Silent...s'. Great band, great show (pit could use some work, speaking as a former member), but just...not the same anymore.

@FrenchHornFanatic94 Guess I'm just picky. It's a weird thing for me, but I need to see enough comedy in a Naperville North show to really just keep laughing over and over. I'll give you one thing- the cavemen and the statue were hilarious.

@FrenchHornFanatic94 Yay! I'll be glad to see more stuff- the marching looks rather...INCREDIBLY hard rhythmically, and I'm sure you guys will make all the effort in the world to give the best show you can (not that you don't already, but still). I'll be seeing you live at ISU!

I hope you guys do better next time! Wish I could have seen it in person. Though... I was warming up, so maybe not... but again, this looks really cool! Well done!
