My prediction is that Fedor beats Henderson. Then Fedor fights the winner of the current Strikeforce heavyweight tournament. I am going to out on a limb and say that Barnett will surprise everyone by winning the tournament. Barnett looks very determined. So Barnett will end up fighting Fedor.
I do know one thing though- Henderson will be one tough opponent for Fedor. Henderson is a crafty veteran. I don't expect Henderson to make any dumb mistakes. It will be a hard fought win for Fedor.

This is the first time I'm seeing Fedor really taking his training seriously and training like he used to train back in 06-07. This looks like the Fedor we all fell in love with.
Its like all his striking technique goes completely out the window in some of his MMA fights. Because his combos are pretty smooth on focus mitts. Didn't see any of that in the Bigfoot fight unfortunately. Still one of my favorite fighters
looks like fedor has now found his fire again and seems more motivated that in the past. while i dont believe he can overcome the size advantage most current heavyweights have to compliment their skill i do think he could be competitive at light heavyweight.

d) He trains with young and upcoming fighters not high level athletes

..I agree with people here, Fedor has no motivation left to fight..even if he scrapes victory against Dan Henderson I still have him retiring either by the end of this year or in 2012. The Fedor of 2005-2006 was a hungry Siberian Tiger who'd dismantle anything that was put in his way filled with a ''by any means necessary'' attitude. @Dungarth Lets not forget that he's been in many battles and that takes toll on his body as well, I believe he doesn't train the way he used to so he's not as strong anymore which is a huge problem and probably why he used to be able to do so well against big fighters and why he had so much trouble with Bigfoot. I want to see him beat Dan and retire, I don't want to see him lose again.

Fedor said in one of his earlier videos that he views every opponent as someone who tries to take him back to poverty. Thats why he wins them all or puts up a good fight. think Fedor hasn't viewed his last 2 opponents as someone who tries to put him back to his past, poor, hungry, poverty ridden part of life. My prediction is that Fedor beats Henderson. Then Fedor fights the winner of the current Strikeforce heavyweight tournament. I am going to out on a limb and say that Barnett will surprise everyone by winning the tournament. Barnett looks very determined. So Barnett will end up fighting Fedor.
I do know one thing though- Henderson will be one tough opponent for Fedor. Henderson is a crafty veteran. I don't expect Henderson to make any dumb mistakes. It will be a hard fought win for Fedor.

Its like all his striking technique goes completely out the window in some of his MMA fights. Because his combos are pretty smooth on focus mitts. Didn't see any of that in the Bigfoot fight unfortunately. Still one of my favorite fighters

looks like fedor has now found his fire again and seems more motivated that in the past. while i dont believe he can overcome the size advantage most current heavyweights have to compliment their skill i do think he could be competitive at light heavyweight.
in the past fedor could have his way with big men because they werent very athletic and skilled. but todays big heavyweight has evolved to have athleticism and skill compliment their size.
