The shot at 1:08 could be achieved aka ghost effect. Stacking n opacity but it wouldn't be as a figure for the second person. Nice video I still rock a Canon gl-2 and thinking of getting a dslr as well.

@TheAraatris you have to film at 60fps (frames per second) to give the smooth quality he has. and when you slow down the footage, you have to choose "optical flow" under video quality to achieve that nice flow

@TheAraatris oh yeah and you need to set the shutter speed to approx double what the fps is. So when you shoot at 60fps you have to set your shutter speed to 120 or in the 60D case would be 125. if you don't the shots will be real choppy

@GhanbariFarhad switch it to Video mode. then press the menu button and go to the second menu to the right and then select 'video recording size' and choose the one which says ???X720 and a small icon beside it which says 50 or 60. then slow it down in your editing software.

On the other hand you could just read the manual for better instructions.

@Challangelobbyz yea buddy this is def edited...the effect is gained by shooting in 60fps setting and then slowing the motion down to your disired speed...as you could see he slowed it down just a bit too much in some spots and you can se frame splitting , he then exported the file out at a 24 frame rate so it looks like high speed slow mo cinema....very quality work even with the minor frame splitting....Im actually gonna pick up a 60d instead of a 7 cus of this....

@V8Dino I don't know if this is what he did, but there is a plugin for After Effects called Twixtor. Look it up on Google, or just YouTube 'Twixtor Test' or something. It lets you slow down clips and but keeps it smooth. It is crucial to shoot at a high FPS for doing slow motion. So if you do use that, you need to shoot at 720p at 60 FPS instead of 1080p, because 1080p only goes to 30 FPS.

All I can say is regardless of the camera this is a fantastic video, the camera is only as good as the guy operating it and you know what you are doing. The editing also looks great some real time gone into the film there, did you use final cut pro or an adobe program?
