I just bought and installed this, but i can't get the Motorized Face to move. And the option for CD doesn't come up in the menu.  Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something i'm suppose to do to unlock it? This is pissing me off. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey I just got the stereo yesterday and very easy to install, One qrestion though, you get this long screw thing with this black little square thing, what do you do with it, from the instruction it said to mount to dashboard???

Also did you use the little screw to screw the front panel to the stereo, Im just worried that if I do that, it can still be stolen, should I screw it or just keep it seperate??

But really happy with the unit, its very nice and strong unit.

Hello Sam I had a problem with this screw, she protect the radio against theft. Unfortunately it is not assumed.

The device is really very good and I'm very satisfied.

Hi, I do not know the radio Sony MEX my 5100 but I can definitely recommend, I'm very happy with it.

USB cable is taken out the back of the device and you can even use it in the glove compartment car - according to me a very good solution, does not spoil the appearance of the front panel.

Thanks, I decided to buy this stereo as all the MEX BT5100 looks great, apparently the bluetooth sucks. Plus I like the GT930UI features, and it looks good. I think the CDX-GT is better than the MEX-BT.

I just checked my glove box so I can put the cable through that.

Hi nice stereo. At the moment I can't decide which to buy, the Sony MEX BT5100 Or the CDX-GT930UI, both are great and in the same price range.

What I wanted to ask, as the aux and usb port isn't on the front, its on the head unit rear, where does the cable come out, how would you connect a USb to the head unit?

Also would you recommend this stereo, any problems you had with it???

I am glad that I could help. Previously, I had the Clarion receiver which I was very satisfied but after the theft of a lot of time spent on the web to find equally worthy of attention and wybórł has just fallen on Sony. I would definitely recommend. Yours
