  • he hates you for locking him in a cage XD

  • @4simplybones surely they must be able to /hear/ instruments... I was playing my piano once, and my granddads corgi came and sat right next to the piano stool. He then started walking around the piano to see where the noise was coming from, and when I'd stopped playing he looked totally confused until I started again.

  • now i'm wanting a corgi again, and now it should also be singing like this cutie one :D

  • omg he is just toooooo cute with the way he tile his head to listen

  • ...Aaaaand this is just one more reason why corgis are amazing. :D

  • There are clearly too many animal lovers on youtube. Dogs ears are very acute and sensitive but it doesn't mean it'll hurt their ears. He's trying to imitate it. A sound they wouldn't be able to stand is a sound you wouldn't be able to hear. Stop overreacting and do some research. My 2 dogs and cat don't even notice when I play an instrument, or this video. Also, it's called crate training. It's teaching the dog not to break things in the house or make an accident. Educate yourself.

  • Corgi Puppy: What is that noise?!?! It sounds like me!!

  • its clearly hurting its ears ;/

  • @gween Why don't you read the other comments before you post your own?

  • hes like "let me outa this caaagggeee

  • Is Squidward playing this clarinet?

  • @PrehistoricStudios squidward is worse.... lmao

  • Adorable he chimes in. Still stupid clarinet....

  • Puppy: Get me outta here i wanna loveeeeeeeeeeeeee you!!!! Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee you!!!

  • I do think the clarinet is hurting the dogs ears. Maybe not to an extreme, but I think that's why he is shaking his head. My dog will do that when a fire truck goes by with it's siren on. She will shake her head and then howl after it has gone past.

  • @smassey85 shake his head? u mean the side tilt? thts just dogs being curious to a noise

  • I love how dogs know how to mime their confusion. *lol*

    *head cock* ????

  • Sorry to say it but i dont think he.likes the.clarinet hahah

  • My corgi doesn't howl but he talks a little it so cute!!

  • hes so cute!! corgi's love to howl :)

  • It's totally feeling the beat and moving his head to the rhythm haha!

  • Why is this poor guy in jail?

  • Can I have it?!

  • my shih tzu sways his head when i play with my guitar, especially when i change chords

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww lol

  • LOL clarinets don't hurt the ears (as long as you're not close (duh)). It just confuses the HELL outta them. I had a dachshund..... She didn't know WHAT to do. Except bark at it/me. xD

  • singin 2 the BLUEEESSS

  • I play clarinet and all dogs that I've encountered howl along with clarinet. I guess it is close to the frequency of a dog howl, and so their pack instincts tell them to join in. That's why I think he's looking at the clarinet like, "what? how is that thing howling?" haha

  • That was annoying :( Cute puppy though

  • i hate squidward

  • This is so cute, he's dancing while the clairinet plays.. :) How adoreable!

  • @Vivisacatfreak My dog does that (head tilt) when she doesn't know where the sound is coming from. Humans also do such a gesture when we are genuinely curious about something and it also suggests you have a kind and friendly personality.

Just like this singing puppy that's trying to communicate back!!!

  • awwwww so cute!!!

  • my corgi was flipping out while i was watching this video

  • D'awwww!! Cute puppy!

  • so sad

  • Hearing***

  • You probably damaged that puppy's gearing for good.

  • thats so sad... -.- not cute

  • sooo cute!!

  • ahahaa so fuckin cute

  • So cute~~~~

  • Cute Corgi :D

I really can't help, but laugh at the comments people make regarding the cage and clarinet, but I'm sure you get enough comments saying just that.

  • it was so cute how it was constantly tilting its head! : )

  • y is it in a cage!!!! its a puppy not a bird!!!!

  • @AlexisPRM but puppies like to piddle

  • @AlexisPRM Because it's being housebroken. I guess you've never had a puppy before.

  • @AlexisPRM !!!!

  • what a cute sound!

  • so adorable omg my fave dog by far i need to get another one lol

  • What a cutie patootie!!!!

  • Hes not in tune! Lol...That was really cute, but he's a puppy...and puppys have very sensitive ears, you could have damaged them :\

  • This is not animal abuse if it is a pup and it is sick you would keep it in the cage. It would only be animal abuse if the cage was never cleaned and if the cage was to small then that would be animal abuse ok use your head man or look it up it would say that this would not be animal abuse ok so make sure before you right stuff like that k

  • this is the cutest thing EVER!

  • I bet it's singing Jailhouse Rock

  • i feel bad for the animals in cages... :(

  • @kulangotses

PETA shit. Won't feel bad when puppy has "accidents" on those new pair of shoes or carpet from no crate training!

  • why is this puppy in a cage?

  • @5ftofFury

Why do u live in a house? Why not live out freely in woods?

    Houses are cages!

  • Squidward has a dog??

  • so cute i have one just like it!!

  • whatacutie!!!!!!

  • So many animal lovers (with small brains) come to comment in this vid >.>

  • If the puppy liked it his ears wouldn't be put down like that.

  • clarinet sounds don't hurt the dogs ears trust me I know my dog barely seems to notice when I play

  • Just wanted to add as a Veterinarian, that dogs ears are indeed very sensitive but most wood instruments are not painful to a dog, if this clarinet was high enough to be damaging you wouldn't even be able to hear it.

Dogs use noises like that to communicate, notice how he waits for it to stop and then tries to mimic it? He's trying to recreate the sound because of his own natural curiosity.

That's a beautiful puppy and about the cage, he was sick, it was a good move.

  • My old Corgi would howl when she heard sad music.

  • this is a poor dog!! way too cute to listen to this annoying sounds and to sit in this cage!! shame on u -.-

  • Your dogs name is Fart?

  • @TheBestAvrageGHplayr I lauged so for a good one minute or more to your comment. lol I think the dog name is Fart.

  • it looks my my corgi puppy lola

  • :D

Oh my God, so much happy...

  • Super cute. but the dog's name is fart?

  • Nah dude the dog doesnt like the pitch of the note and hes trying to shake it away.

  • confused dog xD

  • Dogs are sensitive to loud noises yes, duh? That aside you need to have something on the bottom of that kennel. That is not comfortable for the dog in anyway, I don't care if its only been in there for 10 mintues, you need blankets or one of those plastic trays.

  • I love corgi's!! He is so cute! I have a tri-color corgi as well. But, he isn't singing. You can tell it's hurting his ears. Poor thing.

  • man some people are so judgemental on these pet vids........... just because he plays the flute some to make a cute video (the dog doesnt really seem to mind it either, and actually is interested in it, its just him expirienceing somthing new. and it also makes him less sensitive to loud noises when hes older). doesnt mean he tortures him with loud noises all day. gosh. and kennel training is important too

  • @yekimyarg and the bottom line is that you are animal lover?!?!

  • I hope you have learned that puppie's ears are hurt from high vocals, so don't torture it anymore. As you see, it tries to balance its head and ears that it would hurt less.

  • For one, a clarinet hardly has enough loudness to hurt a dogs ears. The only reason you people say that is because its so close to you the camera that its making it louder than it actually is. Clearly the dog isn't in pain and is actually enjoying it. Two, just because hes in a cage in the video doesn't mean hes in it 24/7. He is probably being crate trained. God you people need to get over yourselves.

  • Thank you so much. For a second I thought I was the only thinking being to watch this.

  • @WooFMewMew Dont you just love the fact that many people say what they see without giving it a second thought?

  • @NYtassu ZOMG, Yeah!! isn't that just the smartest way to do it?? XD *epic-sarcasm*

  • @WooFMewMew ppl love to hate

  • @WooFMewMew The real real reason people are saying it is hurting the dog's ears is because youtube is full of idiots who would rather bitch and moan about make believe problems in videos than live real lives. Don't bother trying to reason with them. It will only cause you frustration in the end. One rational person to another.

  • CUTE DOG!!!! I don't like animals in cages though, it makes me sad

  • take the poor baby out of the cage.

your clarinet's also out of tune. don't be mean to your poor baby. :(

  • You are a DUMB ASS!!! it hurts his ears to hear the high pitch sound... Dip shit.

  • WHY is it in a cage? o.O

  • get over it plp he just did it once and so what is the pup is on the pen for a min

    by the by cute vid.

  • its poor ears.... I feel sorry for that puppy

  • so cute

  • soooo cute. but be careful around the ears

  • agree...i think it finds it disturbing...

  • i thinks its cus it bothers him

  • i think its because it hurts its ears. i made a ahigh pitch sound and my golden retreive does it.

  • poor puppy, if you really love it please don't keep it in a mini jail. and this sounds way too loud especially for dogs. dogs need space to play and move. if u don't have enough space better you give it to persons that know how to treat dogs. love means to care if the loved is well. he isn't well.

  • my dog growled at this vid!!! no joke! hes right there!!!

  • That's horrible! You can't say that he's not in pain. You can tell that a dog howling at sirens isn't in pain because he isn't running away, but that puppy is in a crate! I have a mild form of autism that causes me to be abnormally sensitive to sounds (like a dog), and when something is too loud for me, I make the same involuntary head movements as that puppy. If he was acting on his instinct, he would have his ears forward to try and hear the message, not backwards to block it out.

  • seems more like hes in pain

  • PLEASE dont do that again, its sounds really nice, but its way yo loud, its hurting his ears en and not good.

    But he's still cute though...

  • The girl playing the clarinet is using a high key, she's clearly not careful about the risks. My faggot brother flashes one of those professional camera flashers at my keeshond's eyes, it's pissing me off how people don't have respect.

  • This is way TOO LOUD for a dog dude!!! they hear 100 times harder then us, this is mistreading, and let hi mout of the cave, this is not loving your animal, my dog sleeps in my bed on my feet position on his pillow!!!!!!

  • Omg der armje sitzt in soooooo einem kleinen Käfig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

das müsste man dem Tierschutz melden!!!!!!!!!

  • i did the same when i was training my corgi, for some reason she never wanted to go into a cage when we went out, i just used a clicker, and it worked wonders, hopefully soon she will go in without the clicker, but she is a very smart do, im so proud of her, BTW you have a very cute corgi

  • He was bobbing his head to the beat there for a second! lol My dog's gonna be a metalhead.

  • He reminds me of gismo the little gremlin

  • To those who think the dog is in pain, just search 'Why do dogs howl at sirens?' and you will see that he is only acting on instinct. Dogs howl at certain sounds because it sounds like another howling dog and instinctually they want to join in. If he were in pain he would probably be yelping, not howling.

    Anyway, cute puppy. :o)

  • Also, Joker, it is a clarinet.

  • truly! he howls right on key, too :)

  • It is probably hurting his ears.

  • torture you shove your dog in a cage and force it to listen to horrible recorder playing..or flute whatever it is...lol

  • you keep your dog in a cage??? you´re so cruel!!! you should live in a cage, you deserves it!

  • the dog is obviously not in pain and they are probably just potty training it.. gosh you act like they are laughing while they murder the puppy but obviously the dog is in good health and to me it seems, happy

  • I used to think that, but crate training is a good idea, I have realized. A lot of ppl keep their dogs in crates when they go out or at night, bu they are out during the day and stuff. It is really helpful, especially if the dog gets sick and yo have to restrict their activity. A lot of dogs get used to it and like sleeping in their crates.

  • people who think this is "cruel" need to get a grip. I have seen *REAL* abused dogs, obviously THEY haven't.

  • u a-hole the dog is in pain

  • Rofl... Fart Chai?

  • Why is he called Fart Chai?

  • maybe its because he farts alot XD haha

  • how come in every youtube video involving animals everyone always somehow finds a way to bring up animal cruelty? people on the internet are so fucking dumb =.=

  • sheesh the clarinet or oboe or whatver notes sometimes make my ears hurt not sure how mr.pup was able to handle it.....this is really cute though

  • the poor dog man!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Saxophone ?

  • Comment removed

  • so cute xD

  • I don't get why people think crate training is a cruel thing non-pet owners are so stupid -.-

  • fart chai!! ahaha cute puppy I want one!!

  • THATS JUST CRUEL!!! its not good for their ears. dogs have much more sensitive ears so they here the sound much more higher than us.

  • Get a grip, it's not like we can go around tip toe-ing coz dogs have sensitive ears. In your opinion then, this person should stop practicing their instrument because it'll hurt the dogs ears? Their hearing is more acute than ours but it doesn't mean that he's damaging the dogs ears. You are jumping to a ridiculous reaction, think before you post.

  • jumpin to a ridiculous reaction isnt possible. you are either HAVING a ridiculous reaction or jumping to a ridiculous conclusion. either way theres no way to jump to a ridiculous reaction.

if you are going to type english, at least use proper diction.

  • Ok, that's fine. I apologise for such a terrible crime but really does it matter? Who really gives a damn? I certainly don't and I don't see why you should but thank you so much for your observation, I'll be sure never to JUMP to any reaction ever again, you have corrected my evil ways and once again set me on the path of righteousness.

  • hmph i always wonder why do dogs cock their heads to the side??

  • I think its their way of saying "what?".

  • CUTEST FREAKING THING OH MY GOD

  • pretty cruel i must say...

  • It's crate training, a lot of people do it with puppies.

  • gawsh you people are stupid, you dont have to find something bad to say about every video

    awwies so cute ^^

  • very cute, but, the reason he/she is doing that is because the Clarinet is hurting the dogs ears. they can hear ten times better than we can, so it would be very loud.

not trying to be mean i'm just saying...

    but again very cute!

  • Not necessarily. Dogs have been known to do that when humans sing. It's an imitation thing. Look up the video 'puppy whistling' it does whistles imitating the human. There are other videos where dogs howl. It's an instinctual thing probably rooted when wolves would do communal howling. Notice dogs will howl or bark together.

  • At least it is hurting MY ears...

  • Oh my god, he (she?) is sooooo cute!

  • that is so cute

  • haha~~cute~~~~

  • anyway...this is an adorable pooch :D

  • crate not a cage people T.T

Why don't you get a dog then maybe you will understand.

i have a pomeranian and I played the clarinet all the time (plus the piano) when he is around :o he doesn't mind and this corgi isn't crying :o

its trying to be in tune with the sound-duhh!

i don't get why you people have to be so dense T.T

  • Stop with all the 'that poor dog is in a cage!' comments people- it's a crate- Crate training is very important for some dogs- it worked very well for my corgi in training her and keeping her from more destructive habits as a puppy. She would go back into it to just hang out even.

This is an adorable puppy, though.

  • a responsible one that's going to have a properly raised dog

  • Sometimes, dogs are self-destructive and it's harder for them to hurt themselves if they aren't able to use anything against them. My dog has seperation anxiety and it was impossible for us not to leave him in his cage, otherwise we came home to a bleeding dog :( but, amazingly, he got over it and is fine now, thank God!

  • the same monster that named it "fart chai"

  • its not a cage. it's a crate. my dog is crate trained.

  • aww its cute but kinda mean, he really doesn't like the clarinet.... try an oboe next time. :p

  • OMG, that is so adorable! I want one!!! ^_^ He has such a a cute puppy eyed look, and then he starts to sing, and then I I find that so cute!

  • LET THE DOG OUT OF THAT TINY CAGE! They are free spirited animals !

  • for crying out loud, it's a CRATE, not a cage. And it's not that tiny. All good dog trainers will recommend crate training...as long as you don't leave the puppy in there for long periods of time. I crate trained my corgi and now it is her favorite spot to sleep. Look it up online...

  • yea... i have a corgi and hes right next to me... as soon as he heard the video he started crying...

  • Mine too!!!!!!

  • actually sounds like that hurts the dogs ears thats why they cry

its like the fire engine alarms they howl at that cuase it hurts their ears..

its super cute but super mean too lol

  • omg..everyone is so mean.lol

    i found it funny :]

  • 0_0 wow people are stupid.... i guess they haven't heard of dog whistles.... yay hotaruxmiyu :)

  • Ok... 2 things people.

Clarinets DO NOT hurt dogs ears... dog whistles have much, much higher frequencies that they can tolerate.

The crate is NOT cruel. Dogs naturally value a small space which would be the equivalent to a "den" in their wild counterparts. PLUS, crates are an excellent training tool for obedience and potty training. Although I do agree that a crate mat would be much less stressful on the puppy's paws.

    Cute dog, btw

  • great job on pointing out the logics.this video was cute and funny..

  • omg this is like animal harassment! If you were a corgi owner you should know corgis DESPISE high pitches especially when they're very close to them, their big ears are a huge echo collecter and the high frequency waves of the sounds are painful to their ear drums, so please don't ever do this agian to your corgi.

  • Oooh, I do not think he likes that. If you knew anything about Corgis, you would know that they are traditionally herding dogs, and herding dogs are commanded by whistles that cannot be heard by humans. It may look cute, but that clarinet, in all its bold glory of bad tone as well, even hurts my ears.

  • you're hurting the puppies ears : (

  • thats aweful... corgis are a breed especially sensetive to sounds. ur hurting that dog, plz stop!
