@swifterthenu227 I suppose that would be the idea of it. I just mean that the very structure of their features are pretty drastically change (for better or worse). In most other of my experiences with CGI cutscenes, the characters are just more detailed renders of their in-game selves.

With every new game that comes out the trailers always have the characters looking better than they do in game, whereas with FPS (First Person Shooter) games they seem to show what the game looks like in the trailer, rather than show some highly detailed bs that isn't really what you are spending your hard earned cash on.

If to consider only storyline, then the old ones are better (some of them, not all), Planescape: torment, being a example.

And from the current ones i'd say Witcher is better.

Dragone age is a great game, no doubt, but i like Witcher better, and storywise Planescape aswell.

no you cant customize your gear generally speaking...you can add some effects to them by enchantment... but there are many interesting one off items available to find or buy...appart from that almost every item has 4 versions of itself or so... the studded leather armour looking exactly as its ridiculously priced by comparison cousin the...drakeskin leather armour... but they made sure that if u add the dlc's you ll be as stuffed with unique items that you can outfit every peasant you encounter

yeah... i did try it...its not that i dont like a challenge but i only finished 2 of the ally quests on Nightmare, not only being forced to tweak the tactics every 10 seconds but also having my hand paralyzed on space. for me that kind of ruins the dynamic of the game a bit... also since i explored for glitches like approaching one DS at a time, making him chase me to its 4 on 1 slaughter time...and carry on...

which is a Mage that uses armor and swords and stuffz, or a blood mage. rogues r Assasains, bards (suck), Ranger (summons pets), or duelists. IMO reaver templars, Blood Mage Spirit healers, and Assassain rangers are the best. (yes you can have 2 specialz)

ok this is a general to the people who are wondering about the customization and stuff. You can be human noble, city elf or dalish elf (dalish imo are cooleh), dwarf commoner or dwarf noble. Then you can be a warrior, mage (not for dwarves) or rogue. after that each one has 4 specializations, warrior being Champion, Templar, Beserker, or Reaver, mage being Shapechanger (not that good) Spirit healer (v useful) arcane warrior,
