I dont know why people bother arguing whether or not Bruce would be guys from today. The answer is, probably not. But if Bruce learned say, Mixed Martial Arts today, you could probably bet your ass he'd be the best.
Bruce had power and speed for real not just for show. If he was in his prime today and was trained in mma, he would Absolutely be at the top in his weight division. He had lighting fast power like Roy Jones Jr in his prime.

It has become very fashionable these days for keyboard warriors to say that Bruce was nothing, that "I could have taken him." I don't know every martial art teacher in the world, so I cannot say that Bruce is better than everyone else. But what I do see, from this film, is that Bruce is a helluvalot better than I am, or ever will be.
At 3:23min what happened there? It looked like Bruce hit that man in the stomach or where? That guy seemed pain after that knock. Is Bruce in tournament? Look like so, but is he fighting with different opponent or his student?
Its not bruce lee! Its Joe Lewis against Skipper Mullins! Joe Lewis trained with Bruce during the late 1960s which is why he moves a little like bruce. Although Joe wont admit the reason why he was so good at karate and later kickboxing was because of his training with bruce!
@cypresspuz you never seen that clip of bruce because it isnt bruce. its a very old (and rare still) demonstration of TKD or karate. cant really tell to much from the forms. but that wasnt bruce, sorry odieoreilly man, i know this was for your mate too.
I've seen most of these clips before....but i've never seen the footage at 2:46 where he's sparring with some white kid wearing the karate uniform. It looks like it was filmed on the Japanese show Bruce did in Japan. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love seeing new stuff on Bruce. Thanx!
