I didn't watch the whole video but I think the inconsistent results of the 2 prior experiments described in the beginning might be explained by the gender of the experimentor. That is, I suspect a negetive reaction is more likely when one's space is invaded by a member of one's own gender. That is certainly true with many other species. Thus, the male eperimentors found males more likely to react negitively, but the female experimentor found females reacted negetively more often than males.
