I have always wanted to go to comicon but none of my (friends) want to, they call me a nerd freak and a lot of other name. Anyway I have finally started to make my own transformers costume Classic Optimus Prime! who I'm really close to finishing!!:D My next project will be Animated Starscream! that was AMAZING what did u use to make the suit and the all the arm, leg and chest piece with ? PLEASE tell me :) man, thats one of the coolest jazz costumes i've ever seen and i loved all the other ones to but jazz is my favorite. :) :) :)
Where did you get your foam for the molds all the craft stores I have been looking at are pretty pricy I was curious if you had run into the same thing.
I bought them at a place called Tempe Sales its a wearhouse type place here in the Valley of the sun. and indeed you would be correct the foam is very expensive hens why i took my time im planing out each peace ahead of time.
Over all My costume was quite expensive to make but in my own opinion it was well worth it! :)
Hey I saw you there! My sister and I got a picture with you guys, And I think I accidentaly sat on your foot. XD You probably don't remember us, but I was the girl with curly dark hair, pinstriped jacket and pants, fadora, and all the Jack Skellington accessories. She was in the Lord of the Rings Elf outfit. :D
Another good news is that Transformers 3 started production just Tuesday, so this gives me a chance to try and build an Optimus Prime suit, only problemm is that I heard Prime and B are getting new upgraded looks :]
@VincentGonzo On ho dudes! well how are you doing on the costume now? just checking up on your progress. I just signed up for the masquerade on saturday for Phoenix Comicon 2010. was wondering if I'll get to see your BB costume there too?
@laserbot Im sorry :(( I couldnt make it. I had so many projects and problems with college falling on me I lost my inspiration and time. I fortunately built a head and a mark piece of the chest. But right now College is hittin hardball. On the bright side of it I havent given up on my other ideas. Im building a custom Iron Man Armor; Im part of the Arizona Avengers. Which leaves me to aks as an Avenger to a fellow Transformer fan; Will you join us ? :))
Awesome construction on your Jazz Costume :))) Comicon is only a few months away here in AZ, so Im tryin to beat the clock. Im building Bumblebee from the new Transformers game, with some tweaks of my own :] I'll post my documentary up when it's all done.
After that Im working on Jetfire from TF2, Jet-Powered Prime from TF2, and im making the Batman Monster Jam truck into a transformer.. there all still sketches.
cool man! yea i cant wait for Cactus comicon! ill be wearing Jazz again there for sure! the 100's of naruto fans can eat my exhaust haha! i heard this time its in phoenix convention center much closer to my house then the previous location! booya!

Yeah I know im insaine to take on such tasks, but some guys beat me in Japan to the punch on Megatron, I figured Id do characters' that noone has ever dreamed to try :)) Yeah same here :)
I hope you can go to megacon this coming year because I'm going to be in my yoketron costume That I'm making. :D but it won't be nearly as good as yours!
