They are saying "lebu-cha", which means tea with lemon, but it is different from the lemon tea you get in some countries.

There's nothing wrong with hawkers. I'm not making any judgements, I'm just stating facts. They're just a colourful part of travelling by train in India.

but contrasting india also offers a choice to avoid hawkers. one can travel by the all a/c luxury trains in which one can sleep peacefully with no hawkers ...
