    Ciao Bello!

Grazie "Ragazzo/Uomo Bello" (Beautiful Boy/Man) for making this wonderful contribution to a "Campaign" or project if you will, that is so dear to my heart! I know "Bello" that it will continue to resonate with so many! You've made Bobby Griffiths' (Prayers for Bobby) old lover/boyfriend "Blaine" here most grateful to, and f**king proud of you! You "Canucks"rock "Bello"!

Con L'Amore e Molti Baci! (Love n' Kisses Babe)

  • what's wrong with the audio?

  • @1996squareenix Hmmm. Playing fine here. What's wrong?

  • I live in Vancouver too!

  • awesome vid dude, so glad i stumbled upon it, thanks.

  • OMG haha i love your video's haha :)

  • thank you for sharing this

  • bcfilmguy: Would you like a full body massage? You are thoroughly charming and attractive. ;-)

  • bcfilmguy: Would you like a full body massage? ;-)

  • thanks.

  • beautiful. thank u!

  • Just one question: How do you know when you're ok with yourself and you can finally accept it and don't feel guilty? (Ok that was like 3 questions in one)

Question two: How is it that I feel that I wanna be with a guy SO BAD yet I feel some sort of guilt like I'm doing something that I shouldn't be doing? (Nothing to do with religion, just stuff with myself)

  • @preppyboy9016:

VERY RARELY are children socialized to accept gays. It's changing as more parents are gay/lesbian, and more straight parents have G/L family and friends.

Gender roles are INGRAINED from childhood. If you're curious, it's OK.

Be okay with, accepting of, and patient with yourself AS you are, WHERE you are, HOW you look, HOW you love, and with WHAT you have. Let self-acceptance be Zen: current with who you are and what you know about yourself. Be kind and friendly to yourself.

  • i only just watched this video on the it gets better project site, and i can honesly say that it made me all emotional.

i myself am straight but i can kinda relate to your story through my friends.

i've had a few guy friends who have come out as gay and i've seen and heard first hand by them what kind of emotions they go through when considering to reveal this part of themselves.as you said, being a teenager is hard enough

thank you for your inspiring view on the topic. :)

  • i just wanted to make a comment that wasn't fighting. gay people are just people and i support people :)

  • I'm just fucking confused.

  • Thanks for sharing your story.

  • @bcfilmguy

I've been having quite a time responding to posts regarding the Lifetime

movie "Prayers For Bobby"! Bobby Griffith and I dated for a couple of years before

he took his own life. I was completely illequiped, as a 19yr old boy ,to cope with

the unexpected death of one I had cared for deeply!

  • @bcfilmguy I feel it incumbent upon

myself, to insist on just how beautiful life can be, and what enriching experiences

    can be had!

What's really encouraging my friend, is that many are now denouncing this

horrific phenomenon, not just queer folks like us!

    Thank you for speaking up!

    May G-D Bless You!

    Blaine

  • Wonderful sweetie : )))

  • Dude, what an awesome video! Thanks.

  • You are one cute canadian. You are going to make a man "better" in your life.

    Gay Man From Dallas, Texas

  • Good post!

  • @mrchiefofsinners Thanks, I'm good.

  • @mrchiefofsinners no need were not sinning maybe u should pray for spreding animity

  • @jasonmildward34 Let me make sure I've got this right...

An ugly, obese, talentless pig who sings like a cat being ripped through a fanbelt and wears his Christianity on his sleeve while trolling around on Youtube spewing hate, unable to use proper grammar or punctuation, calls me a sick twisted cunt and I'm supposed to lose sleep over this? Did I miss something?

  • @jasonmildward34 Congratulations on losing the weight. All you need now is an education, the slightest shred of talent and personality and you're all set. Good luck with that.

  • @jasonmildward34

    "IT'S A Choice" ??

I believe you just outed yourself as bisexual, dumbass.

  • @jasonmildward34 you need to step out of the 18th century. I actually just realized that I was bisexual and now that I know I am...I can remember instances from when I was 3 and 4 that was very homosexual in context. Now, at 3 or 4 years old you cant say "I'm going to be gay" because a majority of children that age have no idea what gay even means. You may have some homosexual issues that you need to settle before you can pass any sort of judgement on anyone else. Maybe you are gay yourself.

  • @jasonmildward34 So you're saying that you yourself are gay and that you're choosing to be straight?

No... That couldn't be. Sounds more like you're gay and in denial.

  • @YouStoleMyTube When your a sexy man like me everyone wants you so it's no wonder your hot for me lot's of homo sissy boys are atracted to me..

  • @jasonmildward34 No... I bet your ugly personality keeps normal, sane human beings far away from you...

  • @YouStoleMyTube Look i'm flatered that your atracted to me but i'm not going to sex with your anal.. sorry i'm not a homo..

  • @jasonmildward34 You're not homo? Then why are you obsessed with anal?

  • why are those damn canadian guys always so hot ?

  • @driverain2 Haha. I'll speak to the rest of the group and maybe we can figure it out. lol. Thanks :)

  • You just might have saved a few lives with your vid. Your a good man BCfilmguy!

  • bcflim guy = better canadian flim guy

  • @5hape5ter Haha. Thanks man. We'll see what the future brings :)

  • Thank You. I would not say the traditionalist are boring at least not all :)

  • Thanks for your story!

  • You come across as masculine and sane, which is what the tormented need to see. You are a very handsome guy which will also inspire.

  • terrific video man! you are all beautiful for sharing your story! If i had a camera i would be right with you all!.. I attempted suicide at 18 cause i was gay and these videos and sentiments would DEFINITELY have prevented that.. I was lucky to have a great friend who saved me from dying!

  • This kind of issue could be easily Avoided if people were accepting. I'm christian and my church accepts gays and doesn't think being gay is a sin because it isn't. This is a serious issue and all some people do is hate and THAT is what is morally wrong. Whether you agree with homosexuality or not is one thing but people don't need to aggressively push this ideas on others.

  • thank you

  • @gramosjr7

Thank God I'm an atheist, so I don't have to deal with all those weird fairytales.

  • I just got like really depressed while watching this video. I was thinking about all of the horrible things that homophobes will do to the gay community and it made me sad. I don't understand how people can treat others that way. I'm straight, and I believe that anyone should be able to be with whomever they wish, regardless of any and all circumstances.

  • you re a sweet guy, thank you so much :-)

  • I believe that as human beings we all have equal rights I am straight but i do have gay friends whom i love . if god doesn't judge them then who are we to do so! It is sad to know that these kids died because of other kids that don't know what they are doing! Think about things before you saying them.My prayers go out the family's who lost their children!

  • thanks for the clear reason and the calm encouragement

you make a good example and

you present great reasons for youth to not fear coming out.

  • Thank 'god' we live in Canada where it's a bit easier to be who you are than many places in the world. It's better to be who you are.

  • Thank 'god' we live in Canada where it's a bit easier to be who you are than many places in the world.

  • Thank you everyone for the overwhelmingly positive comments. I'm glad to see this project is getting a good response. Peace.

  • Nothing wrong with coming from a Cookie Cutter or being one. Perhaps you've missed the point. Most homosexuals are birthed as a result of heterosexual activity. It's not that you failed in raising an individual as heterosexual, it's that a person you love is suppressing emotions with no where to turn! The hope here to make them feel okay with these emotions. It's not trying to convert anyone - but it does have to be THEIR choice for their LIFE.

  • @CapHillgwm Think his point was that he's Oreocremerocks and therefore he came form a cookie cutter. Still you're point is very true :) Thanks for the post.

  • Oh no. He's fine.

  • you are good!

  • at least canadians and the canadian government have decided to validate same sex relationships and has same-sex marriage nationwide- go canada

  • FIRST OFF, I JUST WANT IT TO BE KNOWN THAT, I AM GAY (CLOSETED) AND THE REASON I HAVEN'T CAME OOUT TO ANYONE IS BECAUSE WHERE I'M FROM (BAHAMAS) MANY PEOPLE ARE CLOSE MINDED TOWARDS HOMOSEXUALITY AND OTHER STUFF THAT MAKES US ALL DIFFERENT. I THINK SOME OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS KNOW BUT KEEP IT A SECRET. I'M SO GLAD THAT THERE ARE PROGRAMS LIKE THE "IT GETS BETTER PROJECT" TO HELP OTHERS IN MY SITUATION, BUT I REALLY WISH THAT WE HAD A PROGRAM LIKE THIS HERE.

  • @platinumrubies85 I hope you find a way to be happy as gay. I know the Caribbean can be tough... I wonder if you can save up and come to the U.S. or Canada or Europe... I know that's kinda arrogant, though. It's hard to leave where you're from, and it's hard to change things where you are, too. Maybe there's an online group for people like you or a place to go. You're right; people all over the world need more help or as much help as those of us in the U.S. or Canada. Good luck. <3

  • great video, it is very cool. You have it together. It is so honest and live. You are here to help people. You are so good at helping, it is your calling. I will be the first to donate to your foundation. Your vid is really touching.

  • I'm 53 years old and my soon to be husband is 49. he has a retirement fund of 64 k, I have 22k in the bank. It get's better and better.

  • "the thing that makes you different is the thing that makes you special" such a nice sentiment, and true. thanks!

  • Highschool is so fucking hard, and in my small city I have no friends, but I have boyfriend, so he keeps me alive!

  • Too cute!

  • IT WILL GET BETTER. And thanks to people like Dan, his family and people like this guy here... Support is out here. Were here for you guys....

  • Nice contribution. I agree with queerDIYguy, you are really cute! Do you live in BC?

  • im no gay, but

they need the nobel peace prize. gays adopt, lessening the human population = less polution

  • @dakshajackson

ya! ya! and dakshajackson- his balls and his education= no difference. fuck you ya little kkk white trash. get yer head outta that jiant condom and notice im f$@king your mom and killing your first born child. imma rape your wife and burn down your house to. Prepare for step

    one *licks lips*

  • @dakshajackson - less ignorance = better USA

Great video by the way, thanks for sharing. You summed things up well and hopefully someone out there will find this of use to them. :-D

  • I am in Vancouver too!

  • Awesome!

  • Great video, thanks mate. It happens here in Oz too, and this project is a great response.

  • Hey !!!! What is wrong about coming from a Cookie Cutter! Where would I be now without them? I mean my youtube name would just be Cremerocks! and that just sounds weird!!

  • Seriously tho, message was spot on! When my Aunt came out she went thru you those same arguements in her head with how our very southern family was going to react. She decided to do it after a Holiday dinner. Everyone was laughing having fun, she stood up and just said it "Im Gay." Everyone looked up and most said " We know" and went right back to laughing, playing cards, etc. I wish I could share her face at that moment. You see the worry and pain melt away, her new smiles are priceless

  • @Oreocremerocks Point taken.

  • you are great!!!

  • @dakshajackson

    so uneducated!

  • @dakshajackson fuck you.. how about LESS CLOSE MINDED PEOPLE? THE BETTER? HUH have you ever thought about that? get a fucking education..

  • @dakshajackson WHY!? are u watching a video on homosexuals? GET OUT OF HERE!

  • Thanks for sharing sexy!!

  • Thank you so much!!!!

  • Thanks for the honesty and passion that you speak with. You sound like a guy who knows where he is going and what he wants from life. Kids need the model you provide.

  • your my hero!

  • Great vid i created one on my channel after seeing yours

  • Great job on the video, I could not have said it better myself.

  • THANK YOU for releasing a video that's truly candid and honest yet delivered with gentleness. i've been quite disappointed with the number of It Gets Better submission that are altogether too abrasive and self-involved. yours spoke from the right place, and i'm certain that it'll help any youth who give it a watch. again, thanks. :)

  • Thanks for sharin this with us fellow canadian :D

  • Thank you so much for this thoughtful contribution. You're also really cute... are you single?

    -- another Vancouverite ;)

  • @queerDIYguy Haha. Thanks for the support. Yeah, single.

  • @bcfilmguy Splendid. What's your type?

    Hah, I think I'm a bit off-topic now.

  • Thank you for posting this. It is relieving to come out of the closet, even if only to yourself, so long as you stop trying to make yourself something that you're not.

  • Thanks for posting this, was drawn to another BCer and was not disappointed. Agreed with everything you said. Feeling quite inspired to create my own video now!

  • It does get better. Please check out my video.

  • I'm shocked

  • @jolynpasley You're shocked?

  • thanks for this. one thing I disagree with is that it's relieving to come out. I came out to my family about being a different religion, and I can't imagine how they would have reacted to me being gay. for some people, who know their family won't be supportive, it's probably better not to come out until they get older and have their own income.

  • @tereitz08 I think it depends on your situation. If it's going to put you in a position of danger or further pain, then maybe the person wants to wait. But the thing is once you're out there's nothing to hide anymore. You feel like you're being truthful to yourself and all of the wondering and worrying is over. All I mean is that people can surprise you if they truly love you, regardless of how they feel about gay people. But it has to be each person's choice as to when they come out.

  • Thank you for creating a video.

    Every bit helps.

    All the best, Terry

  • A wonderful, thoughtful video. I thought your comments on projecting thoughts and hurtful words onto your loved ones within your own head was particularly insightful.

I'm sure this will help many struggling kids/adults.

  • Thanks for posting this. I think it's an incredible project, and it's a wonderful thing that you put yourself out there to open up and participate.
