Except I believe my earliest memory of Sabbath was when I was four; my dad had their debut on cassette, and we'd blast it as loud as the stereo would go while my mom was working. I was into them... basically (ohoho, BASICALLY.) forever.

... getting a cassette tape in 1972 of Sabbath from the "burn-out" high school dropout who drove the 'Nova and lived in his mom's basement with black lite posters of Hendrix and Spotted Mushrooms on the cinderblock walls.

The music was etherial....for it's time groundbreaking .

I went to see sabbath in 72 at the san diago sports arena right up at the barricade i nearly suffocated because of all the bodies and pot smoke the highlight of that show was when ozzy looked me in the eye for a split second i just remember shitting myself
