This song fits Genesis so well. He went through all of his life hoping to be accepted and to be a hero and never did he really do either. It must have broke his heart when he wasn't accepted by the Godess. This song explains me too, that's why I love Genesis so much. Nice job.

Genesis was the embodiment of the death of those dreams when you come to realise that you aren't who you thought you were- where you become the one thing you never wanted to be. The silent acceptance of that sadness and that ill fate and to have no salvation...it's the hardest thing ever. Poor Genesis. Thanks for this- "Behind Blue Eyes" seems to be Genesis' personal theme song.

This song is fair, but the original was the ebst. This band could never be as good as The Who.This song is shit compared to the original. They've totally ruined it. YOu can't sense that same emotion.. They did a horrible job with the voice.. In the original, everything about the song just kinda gets to you. This one you can't sense the same passion as before. I mean, they used the same words but changed everything else. They should have kept it as it. Anyways, the song doesn't fit the character.

Poor Genesis, when he found out he was a 'monster', he completely lost his mind, he clung to the slightest hope that he could be human again, and when he finally died, and reached out to the 'Goddess', she rejected him and he was lost to the Lifestream, it's sad really.

This does fit Genesis. More so than others I had seen with this song. I imgine it had to be hard for Genesis. He was always beign compared to others, and he couldn't make them notice him. And then he finds out he is a 'monster.' This song says "my dreams beyond are empty." Wasn't it him who said that monsters don't have dreams, or honor? Thsi song really fits Genesis. I thank you for bringing this to my attention. I had never noticed before. This is a good video.
