Higuain is nothing more than a good finisher. Can anyone imagine him playing in a team where he doesn't have C. Ronaldo and Ozil to pass him the ball in the penalty box? He never plays good in big matches (vs Milan, Lyon, etc.) and only does very well agaisnt very poor Spanish teams. Benzema, on the other hand, scored more than 30 goals in a single season in Lyon without playmakers giving him the ball. Plus, he's scored goals in European matches against Manchester United or Barcelona

He has scored many times against Barcelona, last season w/o Ronaldo he owned Benzema. As a matter of fact last season Ronaldo rarely passed the ball to Higuain. Go watch all of his goals from last season and tell me how many of those came from penalties or passes from CR and Kaka.

@226044 Let's look at the facts here then. My point is Higuain can score a lot agaisnt shit teams like Zaragoza and Malaga, but can't score against big teams, unlike Benzema. UCL goals by Higuain: 4 in 27 matches. UCL goals by Benzema: 17 in 29 matches. Benzema scored 5 of those with Real Madrid, more than Higuain for Real. Higuain's overrated, mainly because he's Argentinian and plays for Real, everyone just wants to see a new Di Stefano

Higuain scores in big games in Real Madrid, just watch all the goals he scored for them and the score line and at what minute. Without Higuain, RM wouldn't have won the league couple years ago. His record of 15 goals in 21 games for his National team proves this, and his record at Real isn't too bad either, especially in recent times. He can play in any team, they just need to be semi-decent, give him half a sniff and he will bury it. You don't get that kind of guarantee from Benzema.
