The illustration at 4:56 is from the Bhagavad Gita, and the group at 8:03 are among it's most successful modern proponents, so I'm not sure if this vid is using them as an example of "a religion" in the negative light it puts forth, (belief systems based on falsehoods), or as a path of truth, since Yoga is not a religion proper, but rather a science of life. What's your interpretation of Gerardus' intent on this point & the use of these images?
That is the trick or problem we need to learn to live, it's not easy and I know of no one who currently can do it every moment in this field of conscientiousness.

I agree that parents should not neglect their children, however some drugs or "dope"as it is put are not the culprit for a lot of the things people blame them for. Some drugs are bad for you, absolutely, i do not beleive that these drugs are doing humanity any good. However there are some drugs that help a lot of people despite being illegal which is also a make beleive system. Some drugs allow transcendence.

The narrator goes from inquisitive philosopher to assertive authority on subjects of which there is no definitive answer. Of these kinds of people's information, you should be highly skeptical.
Narrator is reading an article written by not only a friend but his friends thoughts of how he has learned and sees thing's.

@Juno672 I think this video is pretty useful. It's made in such a way that it's understandable for everyone. I agree that a little explanation would do well. Accepting this immediately after you've seen it is as crazy as being member of a religion. Still, I think this man can reveal us a lot of useful information. Switch on critical thinking and start looking yourself, and you're on the right path.

Just because most people would do that, doesn't make it so, or true. Just because something is democratic doesn't mean its right. Buddhism is considered a religion because its wide spread, while Taoism is considered a philosophy.

Maybe it is what Buddhism speaks of That's OK in my book to learn more about your own personal/spiritual evolvement is progress none the less.
Gerardus has spent over 3 decades putting his thoughts out there for us all and I've enjoyed every one that I have read to date.
Contemplating this information or thoughts does us all good.
