THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! This is the only video I have seen with proper curling technique explained!! I've never been able to curl my hair - I was always going from the ends! <3
hey yaya, I love your videos, can you do a tutorial on using a straighter for curling long hairs. And ya, is it important to straighten your hair before curling them?
ok i need help: let me tell you about my hair . when it gets wet its a mess it very curly not the cute way. so i got a curling iron 1 1/4 berral and it wont curl i dont know what to do please help.
dear yayalifestyle, when u apply the serum before you use a heat tool it does not cuz it to fry, it protects it even more than a spray, oil fries but serums are made out of silicones wich smooth and coat the hair so there is minimized heat damage, heat protectant sprays contain silicone as well but in a lighter form, serums are great for heat protection
I love this video because u talk to fast and u get into the tutorial right away!! u r not like most people were they talk for 5 min and then do it.. LOVE UR TUTORIl!!
Darling it just seems like your curling your hair regularly but faster, it doesn't seem like there's anything different about it. It's not very fast, its just how your curling it. Erm.. lets just say rushing.
@samcc5599 . Hey ! Same age ! I'm too young to use heat or straighteners so curl my hair without heat ! I dont want to destroy my nice hair with heat . But I still watch Yaya's video :) . All so nice
I luv the way ur hair turned out... My hair is awful ( I cnt use a straightening or curling iron since I'm too young) but if I try curls or waves heatless my hair jus comes out frizzy or messy and poofy... Any tips??? Oh and by the way what about some skin tips, I hav acne and I jus turned twelve!!!
@YaYaLifestyle I know that everybody asks you but please answer me!!! how do you get such a beautifull and long hair¿? I know you ahve it short know but still... how! please answer me!! I know that its a weird question but how often do you wash your hair¿?
@awsomelily347 Sorry about the late reply...you can buy them just about anywhere. Got mine from the Dollar Tree. I've seen them at CVS and other places like Target, too =)
As long as the serum doesn't contain LEGIT oils, you can apply it before you use heat. I use B&B De-Frizz before I straighten my hair because it makes it really smooth and it only contains two synthetic ingredients. Don't use something like Moroccanoil or anything that contains Olive/Jojoba (and other) oils because that WILL fry your hair!
just a suggestion because my hair never held curls untill i tried this but if you put in mouse before you curl it holds alot better. i use curl defining. but thanks for the top to bottom idea .(:
@xxidolsxx Just be careful with the mousse bc you can damage your hair and your heating tools. Imo it's better to use hairspray after curling if you need the extra hold =)
i love your videos! and your hair! you should become one of the stylers for the chicks in hollywood! likeforreall! i wish my hair was that long. question: is your hair naturally straight er curly???
@daisjustine Sorry about the late response...thank you ^^ I'm just a normal girl who like to do simple hairstyles =) My hair is coarse and slightly wavy. Bc it's so long now, it's a lot straighter than before.
just saying, i don't know if the serum thing is true. then again, i let my hair kinda mostly dry out before i even blow dry it, so maybe it's just cause i do that. :D
@TheClutzyninja it isn't...I mean the oil thing is, but most serums are SILICONE based which protects very well against high heat. Oil as a last or second to last ingredient doesn't matter...
Hey I really love watching your helpfull videos! I've commented before, but I forget which video.
I have an idea for another video. I've noticed that over time my curling iron and hair straightener have become caked in product. Perhaps you should make a video of how to clean our hair styling tools?
Just a suggestion! ^-^ Keep up the excellent tips!
i haven't ever tried this method of curling before, i will definately give it a go. one problem i have when curling my hair, which i do quite often, is that there is too much volume, my hair is pretty thick and it's not as long as yours even though i am growing it. just wondering if you have any tips on how to make it curly but not so big. and i went onto the link but i can't find how to get the free samples?? thanks :)
@EllyMayLouise Dunno if you tell your stylist to layer your hair bc that definitely will help thin it out. Try using a larger barrel like 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" and don't hold it for a long time. Basically avoid creating tight curls...go for waves instead. Check out my Soft Wavy Hair tut. I just checked the link and it says "Unfortunately, due to an overwhelming response, we are currently out of samples. " =/ You can enter your info there to receive future offers and promotions =]
@amandapandachu Many people curl their hair from tips to roots instead...probably because most of the tutorials on YT tell you to do that. Both techniques are fine depending on what you're going for. I never curled my hair like this until I saw a tut by Johnny Lavoy. He's da bomb XD
@VisualKeiScene I got this idea from a random vid I watched when I first got addicted to YT vids. Can't find it anymore...so I thought I would share it with everyone ;D
Hi Yaya, I've been watching your videos for a while and I love them! Just wanted to let you know that JF products are buy one get one 50% off at Walgreens. I tried the root awakening products before your review and finished my shampoo already. My hair's condition (same profile as yours) has dramatically improved. Thanks for your great videos. Btw, I am now trying Pantene's new line for medium to thick hair and it's also amazing.
