Thanks for posting more vids! Yes, I also had no idea what he was like in person, until I saw some interviews on youtube. I was really touched by how upset he seemed when he would mess up in the slightest. I'm not familiar with all of his albums, so the newer songs were unknown to me and some I liked instantly. I sympathized with him when the guitar didn't sound right & respected that he wanted it to sound perfect; I would have been upset too, if it sounded good in sound check, but not later
Well I'm definitely glad that you enjoyed yourself despite his attitude.
Perhaps it's just because I go to so many concerts and at several of them the artist has been able to talk to the crowd and maintain an intimate feeling for the concert, without seeming extremely rude and marching off stage!
Haha, I wish I felt the same way as you, but for me knowing that he doesn't seem to care about his audience makes me look at him in an entirely different light.

Yes, the beginning was nice even without his band, but as soon as he switched guitars his attitude completely ruined the entire show for me.
Even ignoring the fact that he was too fed up to play certain songs and left the stage, his bad mood clearly impacted his performance. Most of his songs were performed sloppily at best!
Sorry to burst your bubbles but being a huge fan of his this show was a great disappointment.
I completely understand your opinion and I'm sure the majority of the crowd probably feels the same as you do. That being said I still had a great time only because I don't care if the songs are played exactly right because I can always listen to the cd's.
Also for me, it brings a more intimate experience when he messes up or especially talks to the crowd and has stories to tell. I found that part of the concert rewarding because I had no idea what he was like besides the music he made.
@bettesample Yes it was such an amazing show! I have more videos coming up... I got most of the good ones but missed the songs towards the end because I ran out of memory : (. Look for the other videos coming soon!
