Even though Letterman can be a bit of a douche, the man still has excellent taste. I love that he's had both Tom Waits and Ryan Adams on the show so often. Two of my all time favorites.
I'm probably going to get thumbs down for this (oh, the horror), but I like him better without the Cardinals. Ryan's voice and guitar work should be the main focus and the Cardinals are dragging him closer and closer to adult contemporary. I'm hoping for a solo album soon.

Ryan Adams is one of the best if not the best songwriter of the last 50 years!! check him out especially an album called "29"..its amazing, if you dont dig that one then there are about 16 other albums he has done since the arly 90's till now, hope you check the other albums out

Ryan Adams writes the most amazing songs today in America. If you think you like American country music but at the same time, can't stand it and if you want to have a near-death experience from listening to good music, then you need to add Ryan Adams to your music list.
