I loved that show, and still do. But when they put it on Nickelodien, the only problems with it were that they showed only seasons 1 through 6, (there were 7 seasons), and that the "go Bye Bye" scenes were mixed up! most of the "Go Bye Bye" scenes from the other seasons were in Seasons 1 and 2!

Problem is, Muppet Babies used footage from freakin' EVERYTHING. I imagine putting the show on DVD would be a legal nightmare.

Real shame. It's the only cartoon from my childhood that doesn't make me think "In retrospect, it's not very well-written" now that I'm an adult.

You're right, I wish this was on dvd, but all that live action footage is stopping it from release, although I'm certain some of it was stock. This means we won't be seeing Burt Reynalds saying hi to Piggy...sigh.
