@47jenken A lot of Americans on youtube seem to consider latino a race so Alexis Bledel, Alberto Fujimori and Bebo Valdés are from the same race just because they or their parents have born in a Spanish speaking country, very logical. And maybe white is not the correct term but when you said "it would be like casting a white Susannah" it could seem you were referring to race, that's why I thought you were using latino as a race, as a lot of people do. I was implying you were racist.

I don't think the term Latino is racist. But I think some people confuse race with ethnic group, culture, common language... For example, if you put in the same group British and Americans I won't use "white" to express that common cultural ground because if white=caucasian, is race, not language, culture etc.
