@imk2vin You don't necessarily have to be gay to like this video and support the LGBTQ community. You just have to be an opened minded individual who accepts others as who they are and what they wish to do.
This is UNTRUE! Lots of other few cities have gay scenes. This video only provide what is known for foreingers but if you know the language you can have access to other gay scenes. Google "IvanKorean"
Lol the troll comments on this video, when will some Koreans come to their senses and realize, Korea isn't as better of a country then any other? There are gay people whatever the race might be, before talking shit to me that there isn't, i know a few gay Korean friends NOT fags, and I would know they r Korean cuz I'm Korean myself. But honestly don't call homosexuals fags, do Koreans like it when called gooks or Americas dog? Do chinese people like being called chinks? Do black people like bei
Homosexual activists understand the power of words.
Please visit my channel to watch a one-minute video clip in which popular atheist author Richard Dawkins admits that homosexual activists "hijacked the word 'gay'".
The word "homosexual" is more appropriate and accurate because it, unlike the word "gay", actually describes the behavior/attraction/relationship being discussed.
The word "gay" helps homosexual activists push their agenda.
I like you and Simonandmartina / eatyourkimchi Alot... But it honestly look like they have copied this vid... not exactly copied but still... /watch?v=_IkuXykm7Cs&lc
I don't support homosexuality, but I absolutely support the right for gays to live however they like, and I disapprove of anyone who would try to legalize their own convictions against another group (e.g. I disapprove of a group outlawing gay marriage/denying benefits/etc)
.
There--Now that I said the responsible part I can say it.
that was really interesting and sort of eye opening. seeing so many idols, boys and girls, showing too much affection to each other for many people it's easy to assume they're gay. maybe they are maybe they're not but because of that i thought it wouldn't be such a taboo for someone to be gay in Korea. it's sort of odd to realize it is. but you know, it's an asian country after all so i kinda get it. that incident with that actor was shocking to me though.
I'm not gay, I have many friends who are & some who do live in Korea. I personally think if it is not impinging on your life (other then you just don't want to hear about it) that it is NONE of your business. I have a daughter & I love her to pieces & if she grew up to be a Lesbian it would make no difference to me. It's her life it's her choice, where is it my right to say how she makes HER biggest life changing choices. I love Korea & anything Korean though think they go to extremes sometimes.
@Steini0793 ~ the lesbian video is coming soon! i'm just finishing it up and making last minute edits! it should be up tonight or tomorrow :) thanks for your patience! it's a lot longer and it expresses more of the legal side of things here in korea than the male perspective video does, so i would encourage everyone and anyone who is watching this to also watch the other version :)

@expatkerri I think you are very, very mean for uploading this video.I enjoy watching your other videos and I like you as a person.I think you are sweet, kind, and very pretty. But, I think you owe me, a Korean male, an apology for this ridiculously offensive video. There is no such thing as "gay" Korean men. Korean men only like women. Is this video revenge for all the mean stuff Koreans wrote on your original "dating Koreans" video?
Do you really think there is no such thing as gay Korean men? If a Korean guy told you he was gay, would you believe it? If I was to arrange for you to meet a gay Korean, would you meet him?
@llEricBananamanll There is no such thing as a "gay" Korean man. Some guys are probably mistaken for being gay because of small stature or a effeminate appearance. But fags mostly come in white and some blacks and hispanics. Asian gays are mostly china boys since they have a huge gender gap, they go gay because there aren't enough women in their country.
@friendlykorean1 i think you need to open your mind a little bit, just because you are a korean male, doesnt mean you can speak for the entire male population of korea. gay ppl arent just white/black/hispanic, ALL races and cultures have gay people, asians included. korean culture has it where marriage and family is extremely important, so obviously the korean men that are gay would be afraid to come out. just because YOU dont see it, doesnt mean its not there.
@kaitheshyguy Why are you even commenting to me? I am a Korean man and there is no such thing as a Korean fag. Why can't you believe me? Is it that your feelings are hurt, because there are no gay Koreans?
@friendlykorean1 haha umm I've seen plenty of gay men, Maybe you should just say that you are not gay and not that there are no gay Korean men. That means that on this planet there is not 1 gay Korean man.
@charlycheer What you have seen are not "gay" Korean men, they're just effeminate Korean guys who are probably small and thin. Does that make them gay? Are you telepathic? You can read minds and see if they're gay? I doubt it. You are right about one thing though, there are no gay Korean men on this planet.
@friendlykorean1 umm no but I CAN talk to gay Korean men who are which my friends and hear their experience about being gay and Korean. It doesn't take psychic abilities, just an open ear to the truth.
@charlycheer Thoses "gay" korean men you were talking to aren't korean. They're chinese. Scrawny, effeminate looking asians. China has a huge gender imbalance and so alot of chinese guys turn gay. They are gay refugees in s.korea. Chinese government persecutes queers.
@friendlykorean1 but there are gay Koreans. my gay friends hook up with Korean men all the time, some even have gay Korean boyfriends. you're a typical ultra-nationalist korean in denial. You aren't aware of something, therefore it must not exist? that's pretty ignorant.
@tokee1234567 sorry, just equate the deliberate ignorance of anything that might dent one's national pride with ultra-nationalism. I didn't mean all koreans are like that. i have many cool korean friends here.
I went to Korea to escape the moral corruption of the west and live somewhere that has a stronger view of conservatism. Don't expect Korea to change for you, it's just a small peninsula country. Leave it be.
@Jamesyb0i hate to break it to you if you look close enough the is moral corruption everywhere in the world it just happens to be advertized more in the west. Also it doesn't matter how large a place is in time everywhere will change that's how life works.
@Jamesyb0i Thank you! I also believe Korea to actually be a conservatice location. Unfortunately, this moral corruption will be the end of a moral civilization. Added to that, if people actually believe in a God, they would know that God is eternal and does not change as we or society change. Do people actually expect God to approve of such revulsion? Of course not and may God have mercy on us. Sweet Mary pray for us, St Andrew Kim, pray for your country.
Omg! I live in Seoul and this is soooo true! I've been to the "Hill" many times with my gay friends but the ONLY thing I hate about in Korea is Gay Culture in Korea. Gay culture is only exclusive to Men and deff NOT women. In clubs they only have Male restrooms and girls have to pay double entrance fee's at all the clubs.. then while you are in the clubs a lot of gay men will flash nasty unapproved faces if your a girl in the club. I hate it.
well, i think in every country theres some individuals that oppose homosexuality, whether its cuz of religion, personal belief, etc...i know that for older people especially, they find it hard to comprehend how this type of relationship can happen, since they were never told it was okay to do, or even told it was wrong. i also sometimes found it weird how korean men drssed, since i come from a catholic mexican family, but as i learned more about korea, i understood it was just a culture shock(:
I've been wondering for a long time what life was life for gay/lesbian people in Korea..this video is just what I've been looking for! Thanks so much for posting! ^^ and I look forward to the female perspective vid :D
I am straight but i strongly support gay people. I dont see why anyone should be told who they can or cannot spend their life with. People need to be more understanding. Thanks for this video :)
@PandaJungle one thing about Korea: on the outside it might look extremely developed, but Korea has undergone major changes in the last 50 years. But In Buddism , there is almost no comment about it . not good or not bad.
I also think there is no reason dislike or like it.
It 's just another person's private life if they don't make a problem .
