I love this opera. It has become one of my favorite operas.  I have seen this production on tv on my local PBS station. I also have seen it live by Seattle Opera years ago and boy did I cry.... Even watching it now, I crying. *breaking out the kleenex. *

I have seen this this summer in Dresden, Germany. Different singers, but simular sciene decoration. I love la boheme, this opens me to puccini at all.

i agree, saw this on Christmas Day about 10 years ago - have constantly tried to find the video - can you please tell me, is it the one directed by Buz Uhlmann (?) ?

Yes, it is the original, australian version of Luhrmann's direction. In 1993 or something...

I cried so hard while watching this. It is the best performance of La Boheme that I have ever seen.

@Zibanejad This is from Baz Luhrmann's production at the Sydney Opera House. It is available on DVD, and it is a stunning rendition, the use of color in it is AMAZING and of course the singing is amazing!!
