  • Nice tone.

Is the nect really thick? I use my bass very low. will it be confy with a 5 string model?

  • No, I don't think the neck is thick compared to other 5-string basses I've tested.

  • thanx for your reply.

    very good sound !

  • Cool bass tone !

Which effecter are you using ? otaver(tell me which maker , EBS,Boss,MTX etc..)? comp?

  • @u214d. I'm using a Zoom 506 Bass effect pedal.

  • Sounds excellent. Looks sharp. I enjoyed this.

  • hey bro ,nice tone, is this FNA JAZZMAN ?

  • Yes. That's correct.

  • looks kinda like a traben bass o.o

  • @KanuZankoro No

  • @KanuZankoro what the fuck traben??? from where does this warwick look like a traben?....

  • Nice! is that a Warwick Corvette?

  • That is a Warwick Corvette FNA Jazzman.

  • great, thanks !

  • Likewise!

  • sounds cool man

  • muy bueno

  • great solo, is there any chance i can find this song?

  • Man, great work indeed. Very smooth, groovy i would say, with great feeling! Great sound, Warwick is such a fine bass to play in my opinion.

  • Thanks a lot! Or in Norwegian: Tusen takk!

  • Comment removed

  • No, I don't even know what that means.

  • I think he was trying to ask about octaver..

  • I think he means something like an octave pedal.

  • No octave pedal, but in some parts the bass line is simular to the line of a six string guitar.

  • damn, very smooth

  • That's some very relaxed playing, nice.

  • what bass is that? warwick what type?

  • It's a Warwick Corvette FNA Jazzman.

  • nice

  • Great tune, great bass, great playing - SHWEEET!! :)

  • great :)

  • nice bass man

    and great playing too

    u damn good :P

  • warwick?

  • I love the sound and great bass!!!!

  • wahts the bass plz reply

  • its a warwick FNA jazz

  • i have the same bass :) i love it. have u had any problems with the eqs? i had to get them fixed a couple times but other then that i love it

  • No, I've had no such problems.

  • gedeon jerooball

  • i want warwick...:(

  • Warwick FTW!!!!

I love my vet, but i want a jazzman SOOO bad.

  • ensiferum

  • Right, and people normally have 10 fingers.

  • im building an 8 string, and its going to be sweet!

  • it can go up to about 15 strings. 8 is usually 4-string w/ the strings doubled up. they can do that w/ the 4, 5, and 6 strings, thereby going up to 12. But Jean Baudin made the SUPER extended range bass [i.e. 15]. check him out -- I'd play with it, but i doubt i'd ever get a bass like that, lol. the designs are quite genius, however

  • Uhh, no 8 strings are pretty common (double coursed 8, not single) compared to 7 strings and above, which usually have to be custom built.

  • a bass is supposed have 4 ropes no ?

ps : I'm belgian, so sorry if there are some english faults

  • you mean strings? yea most have 4 but some can have 5 or 6

  • Ok thanks =)

  • fna jazz man 5 warwick

  • rifado

  • Amazing bass solo... i wish i was that good, lol still workin on it

  • which model of warwick was it?

  • It's a Warwick Corvette FNA Jazzman.

  • sweeeet

  • Everybody loves a Warwick.

  • Great technique ck my videos out.@ rich sechrist

  • thanks, man! Gonna ckm out now.

  • Здорово... Нет слов...

  • Nice music, reminds me of the old porno dvd's i have XD. Seriously nice jazz sound 5 stars 4 u

  • funky.

  • Cool bass!!♦♣♠♥

  • cool

  • Awsome playing and id like to head to norway sometime seems like a pretty awsome place but not quite as good as that playaing, Bravo

  • bahjazz if ur reading this comment i was just wondering how much ur bass costed u. O and nice playing

  • Here in Norway i paid 2000 USD for it, brand new. Pretty stiff prices here, I think.

  • nice stuff my friend! is it a warwick? and is ur bass tuned standard 5 string?

  • ahhhh love some good jazz bass. 5 stars.

  • Thanks!

  • Chord progression?

  • Sorry. No chords or tabs.

  • it saouds really nice. I would love to get the tbas for this to learn.

  • couldnt agree more, standards are awesome basses, but a thumb and all the neck-thrus, particularly the older ones are just a next level! Im hoping to grab a streamer stage 2 on ebay possible, then I will have EVERYTHING I EVER NEED haha!!!! Keep growing, enjoy the new bass ;)

  • I really enjoyed this! A well-composed, balanced piece of music thats not just saying "look at me, im a badass player"! This piece shows far more skills than that, its got the finesse and the gentle touch, its got what music is all about! Bravo!

  • Thanks, cd0u50c9!

  • oh man I know what you mean, i used to have a 5 string streamer standard, and after a year and a half I updated to an LX, its a dream! Thumb is a beast, unique tone! Keep playing ;)

  • i love the jazzman. wish i had one. or a thumb NT. i just have the corvette standard ash. actually i love all warwicks!

  • Thanks, Wilko. I've composed this song myself, and I've recorded it in a tiny studio with the help from some friends of mine. I'm following the fretless bass part and the guitar part. I guess it's the fretless that makes the kind of chorus sound. I don't have any tabs.

  • are you following the guitar part in this? i dont really knw the song, and it seems like you are. Pretty good job either way, keep it up

    peace

  • i hav 2 poop

  • "retards who use only 3 or even 2 fingers LOL..." god i cant even put your ignorance into words. pseudo-bassist know-it-alls like you piss me off so much. Pretty strange how you say "basses with humbucker at the neck and single coil at the bridge" because the bass in the video is the total opposite. retard.

  • I own a FNA Jazzman too, can you mention about your preamp/pickup combination? I didn't know that I could get this type of sound.

  • Im not for sure but it sounds like he is using a octive and a chorus pedal to get that sound

  • COOL

  • very nice. do you have tabs? T.T

  • i doubt it

  • ????????

  • DUDE , just learn it yourself you dumbass!!! he's playing it right there for you!!!! do you need someone to spell it out for you?? Good bassists learn stuff by ear! not by looking at lazy tabs and the like...

  • wtf???!!! i know!!!

  • que le pasa a este idiota, quien dice quein es un buen bajista y quien no? usted???

    Idiota de mierda

  • Yeah whatever you say.. maybe is sounds a little simple.. but try it yourself, at first: keep it steady is hard enough =\

  • what a great bass player and great theme - post the whole song please

  • warwaick basses are top quality for the price i have a corvette classic 5 string rock bass .very very nice playing

  • Not for the price, they are as expensive as a custom Carvin, those are leaps and bounds better in my opinion. But I am not one to make your musical choices.

  • man i love warwicks, i think my active corvette sounds better though

  • damn dude, you are an amazing bassist.

that is a very nice warwick corvette FNA jazzman, it has an amazing tone to it.

if i had the money for it, id get a lefty version of it, there amazing basses!

  • what type of warwick you got there

  • i believe that's a Corvette FNA Jazzman

  • That's right.

  • Nice =)

how many frets do you have there?

  • i guess 24.....

  • 24 it is.

  • 5 strings basses are one lower. and 6 strings are one higher and one lower.

  • You can string a 5 so that it has a high C instead of a low B

  • what song is this?

  • It's a song I've composed. I named it "To the pole".

  • are 5 strings one string higher or lower than a 4 string??

  • Lower... I didnt know it few time ago too. But it s Low(I thought it was higher). See you.

  • Low. I didnt know it few time ago too. I thogu i would be higher, but actualy it is lower. See you.

  • They can be either, but a lower string is more common.

  • It's one string lower.

  • Any chance of you tabbing it out for me?

    Like Magic mate

  • im an aspireing bassist, and this music drives me to pick up a bass and start playing

    thank you

  • very nice.

  • are those mec pickups? Im buying a warwick corvette std thats active.very nice!

  • The bass has a Mec Jazz pickup in the neck position.

  • A great great Job Man....

    A good melodie.

    Make More for us!!!

  • Thank you, metaldos!

  • im a metal bassist play mostly death metal, but i absolutly adore jazz bassists and solos like this, well done and a very nice bass you have there. a warwick isnt it?

  • Thanks! Yes, it's a Warwick bass.

  • I just love the sound of the FNA. This slight, full and rich tone, wow!

  • Hey man, I'm from Argentina, and I play bass too... I play most prog metal, but I love this kind of solos, loved it, and love that bass too :D...

    Good luck...

  • Thanks! Prog metal and prog rock are great genres. Yes, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Genesis, Saga, mmmm...

  • Good Job! I love that sound.

  • That was Sweet Man!Great playing, great Tone, great Music.I just bought a Warwick Streamer Pro.If I ever play this good on it Life will have been worth it.Rock On!!

  • Warwick Corvette Rockbass RULLEZZ... but the music.. damn you roockk man!! =D

  • The finish on your FNA is sick. Tobacco?

  • yes, it's antique tobacco.

  • yo toco la bateria pero el bako tambinen me gusta y este solo esta muy bueno. suerte

  • Gracias! Thanks for the positive comment, rcylarenga.

  • Nice playing & a gorgeous bass.

  • It's a Warwick all right. A Corvette FNA Jazzman 5 strings. I bought it in a local shop in my home town in Norway. Imported from Germany.

  • nice !

    is it a warwick?

  • nice playing dude. but there's something funny though, were i come from Bahjazz but written like bajass means the same as fool

  • I'm using a Zoom 506 Bass compact multi effects processor. On this song I'm using an effect I've programmed myself. Compression, octaver and chorus.

  • MEC jazz pick-up in the neck position and one active MEC 3-ways pick-up/electronics. With a switch I can choose a posistion where the bridge pick-up is humbucking and routed in series. When the switch is in the middle posistion the bridge pick-up is single coil and routed as humcanceling with the neck pick-up. In a third position the bridge pick-up is humbucking and routed in parallel.

  • what effects are you using? I would like to try that with my Thumb NT5.

  • nice, are those humbuckers and a jazz pickups?

  • Pretty cool. Nice bass. It seems so easy

  • ta bueno

    SOUNDS COOL
