  • look description Friday the 13th

  • *rosewood fingerboard

  • The Title must say: "The Guitar that you Can´t Buy" X_X

  • this guy is really weird... but interesting

  • got my buckethead lespaul man im freaking lovein it :D

  • @XxdartvaderxX Hey bruttha how is that new AXE by buckethead always love that sound....Like the Tele for country .. the Strat for the SRV style..have a lespaul 1960 but that Buckethead model must be a KILLA..right..

  • @telecaster24 Dude.. no words can desribe and plus the neck is like way huge and i gusse how he gets that way huge sound? lol

  • I need that!

  • I strictly play only Jackson's or ESP's but I would play this just because Buckethead plays it.

  • What a horrible guitar..

  • @figzor What's so bad about it?

  • @silverneedle,i knew b.h.when we were younger .yes we both lived in claremont.then we started dating.he did give lessons at styles..

  • I have this guitar and red knobs.i was able to get another one made smaller for my son.

  • The reason buckethead songs are so beautiful is.. he connects his guitar to his heart.

  • dear santa...

  • They're all gone :( not a single one of these are left, they have all been sold. Now there is just the studio version of this which is cheaper, but the only difference is the fingerboard (torrefied maple instead of ebony), the nut width, the pain job (It's just plain white and satin instead of gloss), and I think the pickup selector is a different color.

  • not gonna be a hater but... it is just rlly fucking ugly!!

  • @WorldPodTour It's plain white, how is it ugly?

  • @lilticlez No, most gibson's don't have 24 frets, some do. All of the gibsons I've ever played had 22 frets. I am looking to get a flying v with 24, tho.

  • best guitar

  • FUCKIN FEDS RAIDED GIBSON!

  • i want one.....only problem is its over expencive and while this outclasses the guitar im about to mension, u can get a guitar for about £150ish if u want a kill switch, that guitar being the epiphone les paul special II.....however to get one of these would be awsome!!!!

  • Why? Why must you be $4,000?!? Seeing Buckethead for free on the first though, so can't complain about that!':)

  • I'm gettin that guitar when I save up one thousand two hundred and twenty nine pounds. Lol

  • orrible guitar.

  • i would like it to be like the original : /

  • plainest guitar ever

  • I saw your review of this guitar at Guitarcenter(dot)com

  • LOVE the arcade buttons!

  • I like it but I'd rip those red buttons out so fast BH's head would spin.

  • My dream guitar i'd rather get this than a car or pay a morgage.

  • what song is this?

  • @masterlinkx31 read the description

  • @masterlinkx31 shitttt i missed that when i looked over it the first timed.

  • 0:39 lol white knobs

  • i see alot of complaints about les pauls being heavy....

grow a pair. they arent heavy. ive played a 2 hour jam session with mine and didnt have a problem with it at all.

  • Buckethead used to live in my city and used to teach at my local guitar shop :D

  • @figger48 i really doubt that

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar

WOW REALLY? I forgot you knew everything, I live in claremont California, do some research, ill help you go to wikipedia look up bucket head.

  • @figger48 dude just cuz you did research and found out were pebber brown tought buckethead (styles) doesnt mean shit...this is youtube anybody can find that shit out...it takes an even bigger idiot to comment saying to look up buckethead on wikipedia so we can think your cool..get over yourself

  • @skatinsince97 HEY go fuck yourself dude, dont get mad dude I know where I live and know the people that hes worked with. YOU need to get over YOURself AND stop pretending you know what happened you fucking idiot your NOT a all knowing dimwit and I NEVER planned for people to think I was cool for stating a fact. GOOD day to you sir. dont even replying after you read this message lets not waste our time here.

  • @figger48 lol i remember when i was 12

  • @skatinsince97 Good for you

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar no, really man its true, i went to a guitar shop that had Buckethead do guitar lessons there b4 he became famous. he was an awesome teacher :)

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar thats a big ass guiatr

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar Check figger48's YouTube page and find that he lives in Claremont, and upon a wiki search of Buckethead you find that he also lived in Claremont

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar Buckethead is from Claremont, CA; the poster who mentioned about the lessons and the city is also from Claremont, CA; I recall seeing early interviews and articles where it was mentioned that Buckethead gave lessons in Claremont. You, my doubting friend, are mistaken.

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar i don't i live in the same place as him,hey man how you doing?

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar

Bucket did live in Claremont after some investigation and it wouldn't be unheard of for such a guitar player to give lessons.

  • @josephvincentguitar pebber brown might know. probably would

  • @figger48 I've never heard that Buckethead taught at all

  • @TaxideaTaxis well not everyone is going to know obviously, only some people in claremont or pomona that goes to styles music knows because buckethead used to live in claremont California. The only reason I knew that is because I'm good friends with the owners and workers there and its not like they tell every customer that walks in the door so that's why people don't know that.

  • @figger48 bullshit

  • @figger48 I believe you. Everyone comes from somewhere!

  • @figger48 You are very lucky man :D

Did you learn with him? (:

  • It's the only Gibson I would ever play. I really can't stand Gibsons, but I loved this when I played it.

  • I'm gonna rob a bank!

  • Bassbait is a toolbag.

  • 27.5 scale? is this a baritone guitar?

  • dont all les pauls have black headstocks?

  • I really need to get "Brewer in the Air", to cap off a CD of awesome Buckethead songs, but I can't find an easy way to obtain it.

  • thats fuckin bullshit it doesnt even have a dot inlay on the 12th fret,

  • @bergAgreb i agree..i love BH,. i just hate his guitar :S

  • @synysterg I actually really like his V, but Les Pauls are NOT my style. To me, a Les Paul is just a euphemism for "I listen to really crappy music". Look at Metallica, they SUCK, and I think the fact that Kirk and James both occasionally use Les Pauls is part of why. They didn't suck when they both used Vs, or when James started using Explorers. As for Buckethead, I would make an exception, but his minimalist guitar isn't my style. I'd prefer one with a Floyd Rose and fret dots, and NOT a LP.

  • @Bassbait nah bro ...lp's are excellent guitars....take jimmy page as an example :)

    BH's LP is just horrible

  • @Bassbait The les paul is a great guitar with a great history to it! but the downside is it is hard to reach the upper frets due to the single cut away.

  • @Bassbait i like les puals just fine, i played a lutos from the 70 or 80's shaped like one and its fucking great, i think its thinner though and the body had a bigger radius, the dean ML has a very comfortable shape, the xiphos by ibanez is awesome too but its head stocks heavy

  • @Bassbait Saying a guitar is to heqavy is like saying a car is too fast.. youre probobly just jealous cuzz you cant afford it, typical aidsface -_-

  • @AndreHatesYou Saying a guitar is too heavy is like saying a car is too small, not too fast. Heavy guitars limit abilities for playing, and are a burden for anybody who actually plans to use them. That said, I would never be jealous of someone with a Les Paul, because Les pauls suck. I would be jealous if someone had Buckethead's V guitar.

  • @Bassbait The dinky is a smaller cheaper version of the soloist. So... not the actual size and shape of the "real" guitar it was modeled after. And no neck-thru.

  • @Britton529 I was saying that the regular shape of guitar is the most comfortable. The regular shape with two protrusions around the neck, giving more freedom to the upper frets, and making the strap easier to put on the guitar than a Les Paul.

  • @Bassbait James & Kirk don't use Les Pauls douche bag, they use ESP Customs. Their guitars have an eclipse body similiar to the les pauls. They're both cut away at the waist and the elbow so thats why they look similiar. P.S Metallica are sick so FUCK YOU!

  • @bergAgreb so what? I don't think inlays are exactly good looking on a guitar. I prefer not to have inlay, or something special looking. (not indicating what fret)

    I don't like the red buttons though:s

But overall this guitar is an amazingy playing guitar. I love using killswitches and i have quite big hands so the extended neck is also a nice touch. plus the chambered body does something special to the sound:D

  • @progAGguitar okay thats your opinion, but when im playing i like to know in which key im playing.and you have to agree that there are way better guitars for that money, you can easily make a kill switch yourself or your just muting one of the pickups , and then switch around pickups.

lets face it, most of the people buying that guitar just buyed it because of buckethead, but buckethead old guitars were way fuckin better than that piece of shit

  • It woulda been cool to put KFC on the twelth fret and I think they shoulda called the pickups Burst Buckets or Bucket Buckers LoL

  • This song is fuckin sick!! Which song is this? Which album?!? Great guitar, I gotta get my hands on one.

  • @GerrysJamSession The Lobotomizer - Island of Lost Minds

  • Comment removed

  • Where is the clip at the end from?

  • I played this at my music store yesterday, it was amazing!

  • white power guitar much? lol (thats not funny :/)

i sort of want this, just because its buckethead lol

  • @SuperTheJake Its a sick guitar, and if you've got the money, get it.

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar My dad ordered one for me (:

  • i would acctually prefer the square black and red killswitches he uses..

  • @InsanityType66 The arcade's are much easier to use, so you can press it much faster

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar i didnt know that thanks

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar

Plus it's made with Sanwa arcade buttons, the best quality out there.

  • awesome guitar! and it has 24 frets!! . almost all les paul have 22

  • If not for those killswitches it would be beautiful

  • ok thanks captain guitar!

  • wow its the only Gibson les paul with 24 frets

  • @CiviC092 huh?? no its not. lol most gibson will have 24 frets budd

  • Lol great day to release a buckethead signature, Friday the 13th! lol xD

  • the only problem with this this guitar is it has different pickups from the one buckethead uses. buckethead uses the dimarzio super distortion in the bridge, and im not sure what neck pickup he uses. oh, and the fretboard isn't as dark as buckethead's either, so it doesn't look as pretty.

  • Hello I work for Gibson here in Nashville at the factory , I had no ideal who that guy was, he would not talk and he pick up a guitar back in Final and started playing, now just let me say this we have had allot of guitar players come for a tour famous guy and guys just starting out but MAN!!! That guy in on another level. He was not playing his guitar we had not even start make it then, but he is very good.

  • Awesome! You were lucky to witness that up close.

  • I've dug BucketHead for years,but personally,the guitar isn't for me.

  • im not sure about the inlays..

  • again great guitar,

    ridiculous prices

  • compared to what? what other American made signature models are less expensive than this. Not to mention it's a completely custom design. $2,500 is not out of the ordinary for what you are getting here.

  • its like 4,300 or somthing like that

  • the MSRP is 4,311. it sells for 2,587 (40% off list).

  • @hardcorepiss It goes for $2,587.97 on the street. The price you mentioned is the list price and guitars rarely ever go for the list price.

  • Keep in mind this video was published before the street price was revealed.

  • still expensive for a 16teen year old with no job :D

  • @GuitarZenMan on gibsons site they say 43 hundred

  • @xBADxB4NDITOx

yes, that is Manufaturer Suggested Retail Price. Nobody is gonna sell them for that much because they wont sell any. I cant wait till i can afford this guitar.

  • I dont think ill be able to get one. Apparently only 100 were made and by the time i have this kind of money, they might be all gone

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar

o i didnt know that. i guess i wont be able to get one either :(

  • I could be wrong though, but thats what i hear

  • @MetalMonsterGuitar 50-100 not confirmed yet but they are in fact limited

  • @DavidRck The person who sold me mine said they were only making about 50, and over 25 of them are being shipped overseas. Idk if this is true or not but thats what he told me.

  • @g10giog10 the guy who i was about to buy (if i had cash) said 50 too and because he is " nt well known" as he said

  • why no white hardware?

  • @NapoleanXV This model is replicated of of the 2009 guitar. He used that guitar in 2006 (white hardware). But gibson only signed with him when he had this guitar.

  • that makes me sad, that one was my favorite, Im a die hard bucket fan, and that guitar always just stood out to me.

  • Bummer that the scale length is so absurd. Wouldn't beable to play it with my small hands

  • Become a man

  • I'm sad to say but that was epic ownage spartan.

  • it's in baritone guitar scale length territory. i doubt the average sized player could hit many chord voicings that are already a stretch on 25.5" scale lengths. It's definately a huge advantage for shredding in the upper registers, but not very versatile unless you're mutant-sized like bigb

  • Yeah thats very true and i agree with you.

  • baritone scale length?

  • All info is in the link in the description

  • @Guitareben made it that length to proportionalise with the larger chambered body. They made the entire guitar larger because buckethead is huge so normal guitars look small in his hands.

  • @thomasharman14 larger scale length then ^^ . Cool anyway :D, ye buckethead is HUGE!

  • @thomasharman14 Ahhh i see :D . Thank you for telling me that :)

  • i had played with the thought to save some money and buy this guitar. but i read the nut-width is only 1.715" ... and i prefer a wider one :( Crap!

  • hey what do you expect...the guitar is his singnature...built for him. it suits him...everyone is different

  • @speaker3600 Hi, well just because it's the BH-edition doesn't mean it's exactly the same size as BH's guitar. Also considering BH is 6'6" tall, I am 100% sure he does not have a 1.715" nutwidth on his white Les Paul ... at least 2" if you ask me. Cheers!

  • yea thats why its useless......

  • yeah but it's a great collectors item

  • first thing i would doo if i got this guitarr was to change the picks to dim's like buckethead just to get that sound :)

  • Unless you're a collector there is absolutely no reason to buy this overpriced shi.t that gibson throws out

  • @suzuki15 Not exactly. If you have the money (Which few people do..) its actually a great instrument. And its not really overpriced. After all it is a complete replica of Buckethead's guitar, made by Gibson, in the U.S.A.

  • meh you could build the same guitar for 600

  • True, you can build a very similar guitar, but its not the same. The quality would be worse unless you're a professional.

  • I must say the arcade button kill switch is fuckin sexy, though i'd rather have it by the pink of my picking hand

  • uh youactually can i am making one and its being painted and wired by professionals

  • @suzuki15 If you can find a Gibson Les Paul for 600$ that's authentically made in the USA, Tell me.

  • There are off brand companies such as Agile guitars which have 400 dollars les pauls which are on par or even better than the 1000 dollar + gibsons.

Just because something is made in the USA and has the name Gibson doesn't mean much, you're paying for the name with Gibson.

Gibsons are over priced for many reasons, one of those reasons being you have to buy it from a middle man and have to deal with the mark up. When you buy direct from a company you get a much better discount

  • except for the fact that its awesome

  • townshed is the guitarist for The Who

  • what song is that

  • Read the description.

  • My playing style is just like Buckethead's. I would kill for one of these or at least something similar. Oh, and I want a killswitch too!

  • @Kroche929 Yea its definatley a great instrument. Killswitches arent hard to put in your guitar if you have the right tools.

  • dude you can order this guitar off the gibson website it comes with the kill switch and everything i just finished checkin it out to bad i dont got the money right now to get i cus its like 4 thousand something dollars

  • I''m 16, and I want this guitar more than a car.

  • hey man, if u want the guitar, buy a LP kit, and build one, much cheaper than buying this guitar, and u can get nearly same quality.

  • Sort of. I'd say build one if you have a friend who know how. This guitar though is huge. Its much bigger and heavier than a Les Paul standard. Don't forget Buckethead is nearly 7 feet tall, with insanely large hands. He makes everything look small.

  • oh really? i didnt know he was that big, his real name is Brian Carrol if u didnt know. Yea, i know the size, but u can replicate the guitar pretty well, with the paint, and the pickups. I know how to build one, just it takes time, painting can take up to 2 weeks, but since this guitar is white, it wont take as long.

  • @Steelbullets I'm not sure why your comment is so disliked, but I agree with you. You could make a great replica for A LOT less money. Plus you would make it to fit you and it would be more playable. This guitar is what buckethead plays, and that may not be the same feel other people like.

  • i was going to build this guitar, but i came up with enough money to buy my dream guitar (a Gibson SG) so i bought that instead of creating a replica. But, i do know some1 who did build one from a kit. his channel is newBUCKETHEADcover. if you look him up, he has videos of him playing with his replica guitar.

  • @speaker3600 too true, too true

  • @speaker3600 im 19 and i want this guitar more than my life haha

  • does anybody know where i can get those arcade buttons?

  • They have some on ebay. I bought the last 2 of the light red, and I'm not sure when they'll put more up. But check on ebay for: Original Sanwa Button OBSF 30

  • was so happy!

and then i heard the price. . .

anyway i bet it sounds awesome!

  • Yea at Guitar Center it's going for $2,587

  • what's the song name? :)

  • Lobotomizer - Island of Lost Minds

  • Better have humongous hands like BH, else you're gonna be sorry.

  • @laili67

Not really. It's just a Les Paul with an oversized body and 27 inch scale length. I've played several 27 inch scale guitars and it's no big deal.

  • it's not a hefty price if you consider what it actually is. 1).it's a very limited production guitar (it will likely appreciate in value). 2). it's a completely new model for Gibson from the ground up, you can't tweak your old Gibson and make this. 3). $4,300 is MSRP, it will sell for less than $3,000. 4).They couldn't make an exact replica of his first guitar because the price tag would be around $10k. I ordered one and I couldn't care less that the hardware isn't white.

  • This guitar is really sick.

  • 06 model -_-

  • dude. this is the one he plays now.

    so shh

  • This is modeled after the 2009 model that he plays now. Your thinking of the older les paul he used to use. Yes it is a hefty price, but its an exact replica.
