Thank you AnotherWorldLover for uploading these wonderful scenes! These scenes, this show is the reason why soaps have a place in our world! My memories of Another World will live on in me forever! I hope and pray that someday, somehow the soap genre can be revived! I would love an original soap opera network to be born someday on cable tv that would show classics like AW and brand new soaps. Soap Net was a wash! Who knows. Maybe somebody out there will realize there is a place for soaps!
I loved Ada, She was salt of the earth. Hard as a rock. She could tell you off where you couldn't help but love her. When Constance and Ada died, Another World was dealt a great blow.
The producers should have moved heaven and earth to get Jordan Charney (Sam) and Anne Wedgeworth (LaHoma) to come back JUST THIS ONE TIME ! Do any of you older fans agree? Sam was Ada's baby brother , very pivotal to the show and the first spin-off SOMERSET.
Thank you for adding these clips to You Tube. I, too was an Another World Lover for many, many years. I was fortunate enough to attend the fan club luncheons each April, but I started going after Douglas Watsons death, and before Constance passed away. She didn't attend, and your right, nothing was mentioned as to why Constance was not in attandence in 1992 which was the first luncheon I attended. This to me was the best soap opera on television, and I miss it. Thanks for adding this clips.
Constance Ford was intensely private so when she had cancer, the cast and crew were forbidden to let on. Thus, the characters had to pretend she was alive and the actors/crew could not answer questions why "Ada" was not on the show for so long a time. Constance Ford (July 1, 1923 Feb 26, 1993) was an American actress & model. Her face became famous in the Elizabeth Arden 1941 advertising campaign for Victory Red lipstick, showing her face against the American flag.
