Hey, thats almost the identical engine to what I run, except mine is just shy of 850, ported and polished by PSI with custom PSI pipes and heads. Its a damn good combination, my fathers 1200 genesis engine doesn't outrun me by much!

LOOK at my comment below. This is a 680 Ultra with sleeved and bored ultra cylinders. It used stock storm pistons which makes it an 800. Still the bone stock 680 bottem end. All Ultras were 680cc stock. XCR were 700 and 800 Triples. The top end was sleeved, bored and ported by Art Sever. I run stock 680 Ultra PSI modblaster pipes. 172 hp at 8600R's.

Nice, I'm building a Ultra 800, took the motor from a XCR 800 and doing som mods on it, 144" track. I hope it will rip this winter :D

i have an xlt chassis with an 800 storm engine with weisco racing pistons that the only thing i know that my sled has in it but there was 3000 worth of shit done to it. ill be finding out soon. it has a 141 but its just spins so easy id get like a 151 or soemthing rather like that

There was no 800cc. They only made ultras for 1996,1997, 1998. And the 96 and 97 were only 680cc and the 1998 was a 700.

unless you got a XCR 800 top end then its a 680 or 700.

ultras from polaris are all 800cc not 680 and 700 like said below. Now there are polaris indy's that are 680 and 700 cc but none of them will bear the tag of ULTRA.

Wow that's me and my sled. it's a 96 Ultra with 159 finger track, holz suspension and sever 800 Big bore kit. Stock bottom end. 680 modblaster pipes. Makes 172HP at 8600rpm. willing to sell:)
