  • GOD BLESS YOU CHRIS TOMLIN!!!!!!!:) <3

  • wow he has perfect voice for the song love this song

  • SHUT UP STUPID PEOPLE AND ENJOY THE MUSIC! ;)

  • @CristianMclovin not very nice..

  • Your grace is enough for me Lord! Nothing compare from your Love for us.. I love you Jesus!

  • You know what Guys..instead of arguing, just repent and make a 180 degree turn from sin. That's what Jesus saying when He started His ministry, right? "Repent for the kingdom of God is near!" He doesnt talk about any religions or beliefs. In fact the Ephesians said that no one could boast becuase we are all saved by His gift and not by our works. Cmon guys! Let us help one another in faith. Arguing will bring chaos and not Love. Jesus taught us how to love and not to argue. :) Godbless you guys!

  • I would not say that Catholics live by the word. There is chaos, but, that's all part of the world, not the word. You need scripture in your walk with Christ, if not, there will be eternal consequences and the Catholic church hides behind a veil of deception.

  • I am a recovering ex-Catholic. I decided not to return to the Catholic Church, because nobody carried a Bible and it seemed as though the Priest was okay with it. My Pastors are different. We start with Bible scripture and end with Bible scripture, at my churches, Calvary Chapel and a Baptist Church and there is accountability(The Bible), among other church ministry, like Bible study.

  • I love the Catholic Folks, they are wonderful people, but this is classical Roman Catholic interpretation of Scripture, and I would not waste my time here explaining from the Biblical context alone that which has been misunderstood among Catholics for well over a thousand years. Just hope and pray that you follow your own advice here (like, "don't assume things when you dont actually understand the meaning behind them", and " If you are reading your Bible properly,...") God bless you all.

  • Its faith that save you, not works.. Its the picking up of one's cross; giving up your life to follow Jesus... John 3:16 has been abused- simply believing there is a God does not save you

  • This is the most amazing vidoe ever! love ya chris Tomlin and your music 8-)

  • "Great man....its right to..adore GOD"...as part of our life,

  • ところが、主が言われた、「わたしの恵みはあなたに対して十分である。わたしの力は弱いところに完全にあらわれる」

(Posted by Youtube Stream for iPhone (yst.me) on behalf of teru5182 at twitter)

  • Your grace is all we nned Lord!

  • i could dance to this all day

  • LORD YOUR GRACE TRULY IS ENOUGH..

  • just saw him last night in vancouver for the 2010 passion tour... what a great show!

  • i missed this one...huhuhuh badtrep hehehehe

  • wew, manonood kami ng chris tomlin ngayon,. FOR free :))) sa GCF.hehehe

  • yes pupunta ulit siya dito sa manila. sa araneta naman. sana makapunta ako.

  • @broduderaEL talaga po?? kelan? :)

  • I wanted to add that so much of our understanding of those from different denominations is misunderstanding. I grew up Baptist and Evangelical and had never read anything by a Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, ect. I was shocked to find out that much of what I always thought about them was skewed. Most Christians are seeking to do the same thing, and it just manifests itself differently. Scott Hahn is a great source to hear a Catholic perspective on the Catholic Church. You will be shocked.

  • @nastyraider77 ...thank you for the source. I am a Catholic Christian. My belief and practice is not different from other Christians and so I am always hurt whenever some say Catholics are not Christians. I don't know why people are so judgmental and not understanding what they really have to act as true Christians. I am happy that I have a lot of "Christian Friends" from different sectors and we respect & understand each other. Again thank you & God Bless!

  • @gneweston hello! when was a catholic before, i had the same thinking like you that we should respect each other's beliefs. but when i surrender my life to Jesus, accept Him as my Lord and savior, turned from my sins w/ the help of Jesus, I realized that there are many wrong beliefs that the catholic is doing. One, worshipping mary, mary cannot save you. John 14:6 Jesus is the only way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. only Jesus can save us!

  • @gneweston 2nd, catholic worshipping idols, statues, saints. which is very wrong. Exodus 20 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me. “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.

  • @s4h8a6 im a catholic and everything that you said is actually wrong. dont assume things when you dont actually understand the meaning behind them. i understand that some catholics actually do worship false idols such as saints and mary but that is not the purpose of them. do not say that all catholics do that because that is certainly wrong. do your research before posting on such controversial topics.

  • @gneweston 3rd catholic praying rosary. rosary cannot save you. matthew 6:7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. read your bible everyday friend and you will realize and find the truth. :-) not w/ the traditions that people told and believe. believe in Jesus, repent on your sins, and follow God's commandments can make you a christian. John 3:3 unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Goodluck.

  • @s4h8a6 thank you for your concern whoever you are. I don't like to argue with you but I want to boast of what I do. Check the page I Love The Holy Bible where I am one of the admins and Christian Music And Arts (my own), both on facebook. I won't say goodluck, just God Bless!

  • @gneweston i'm sorry but i'm not arguing, i'm just stating the facts of what is in the bible. the truth of what's in the bible... may God bless you and guide you while you reading your bible... Godbless! :-)

  • @s4h8a6 Okay, it does say in the Bible John 14:6 Jesus is the only way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. only Jesus can save us!

Let me ask you, will Jesus be ever born without the 'YES' from Mary? Mary is the Mother of God. God is made flesh through Mary.

How can you then justify Revelation 12:1 "A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a WOMAN clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head." ...continued..

  • Oh and us Catholics do not "worship false idols". We are just asking them to PRAY FOR US (intercede with our prayers) Just like asking your family and friends pray for you, why not to Mary and Saints? Mary is like 'our spiritual mother' and the Saints our 'spiritual friends'. We all are called to be Saints in this Life.

Read John 2:1-11. You see everything Mary ask, Jesus will grant. So if you pray the Rosary, we are asking her to bring our prayers to Jesus, not directly praying to her.

  • @s4h8a6 If you are reading your Bible properly, Jesus instated the Apostolic Tradition to the Disciples to spread the Gospel to the World on Pentecost. If you read Matthew 16:15-19. Peter,[a] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[b] will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[c] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[d] loosed in heaven. So Pope Benedict XVI is the successor of St Peter

  • I wanted to start by saying that Mike Gendron and his books are a bad place to go if you are wanting to find out what the Catholic Church truly teaches. I've read a lot of his stuff as well as a lot of Catholic stuff and while I'm sure Mike is genuine, he unfortunately twists the Catholic Church's teachings. I'm not promoting anything other than an honest look at things. Read a book about the Catholic faith by a Catholic and not by someone who has an axe to grind with it.

  • sayang hindi ako mkapunta nito

  • true God's grace is really enough...God is always remember us...

  • If you read the bible and understand it, the bible tells you the truth. You have start praying and fasting and ask God to give you a wisdom and he shall reveal to you the truth.

  • If Christian parents wish to dedicate their child to Christ, then a baby dedication service is entirely appropriate. However, even if infants are dedicated to the Lord, when they grow up they will still have to make a personal decision to believe in Jesus Christ in order to be saved

  • I agree :-)

One must still actively believe in Jesus Christ in order to be saved. But you're missing a little bit. Not only must you believe, but you also must live out that belief in your everyday life...

"...if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing."

    -1 Cor. 13:2

  • Baptism does not save a person. It does not matter if you were baptized by immersion, pouring, or sprinkling - if you have not first trusted in Christ for salvation, baptism (no matter the method) is meaningless and useless. Water baptism by immersion is a step of obedience to be done after salvation as a public profession of faith in Christ and identification with Him. Infant baptism does not fit the Biblical definition of baptism or the Biblical method of baptism.

  • So do you believe that all children who die in infancy (and in the womb as is the case with abortion) cannot possibly attain salvation because they didn't make that choice themselves?

  • With this in view, infant baptism is not a Biblical practice. An infant cannot place his or her faith in Christ. An infant cannot make a conscious decision to obey Christ. An infant cannot understand what water baptism symbolizes. The Bible does not record any infants being baptized. Infant baptism is the origin of the sprinkling and pouring methods of baptism - as it is unwise and unsafe to immerse an infant under water. Even the method of infant baptism fails to agree with the Bible.

  • Water baptism by immersion is a step of obedience after faith in Christ. It is a proclamation of faith in Christ, a statement of submission to Him, and an identification with His death, burial, and resurrection.

  • There is much confusion about baptism in the various Christian denominations. However, this is not a result of the Bible presenting a confusing message on baptism. The Bible is abundantly clear of what baptism is, who it is for, and what it accomplishes. In the Bible, only believers who had placed their faith in Christ were baptized - as a public testimony of their faith and identification with Him (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-4).

  • Peter was married and had a familly. In one occasion Jesus healed his mother in law. The pope is just a man like us and he does not represent the true church of God neither do all those religions but the true church of God, are all those who have believed and received Jesus and have been baptized as believers not children who cannot believe yet. Furthermore All my familly were catholic and I was baptized as an infant but when I read the bible to prove my beliefs I found out how wrong I was.

  • Nobody claims that the pope is not a man...Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Catholic Church, but the Pope is the leader of God's church on earth. You failed to address an essential part of the verse that I quoted, so I will reiterate it here: "...whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose in earth shall be loosed in Heaven." Sounds to me that Jesus is entrusting Peter to be the leader of his church.

  • HurricaneTeen!"Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them; Jesus said, Let the children come to me because to them the kingdom of God belongs. It means the kingdom already belongs to them. It does not say he baptized them but just blessed them. "She was baptized, with her household" (Acts 16:15). It does not mention children but those in the household that believed.

  • Paul adds to this illustration: "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit." (Ephesians 2:19-22)

  • Peter was not "rock solid" at this point in time. If we read on in Matthew 16, just a few verses after Jesus spoke of the rock, we find Christ rebuking Peter for trying to hinder His ministry: "But He turned and said to Peter, Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." (Matthew 16:23) Later, it was Peter who denied three times that he even knew Jesus (Matthew 26:69-75).

  • Nobody claims that Peter was perfect. Only one perfect man ever walked this earth, and you and I both know who that is!

Everybody turns their back on Christ, and everybody hinders God's ministry at some point - even the Pope. But that doesn't completely inhibit us from leading others toward Christ and furthering his ministry on earth.

I would just like to add that people don't dislike the Catholic church; they dislike what they THINK the Catholic church is. It's not just religion, it's love.

  • Paul is clear in 1 Corinthians 3:11 "For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." We can't look to a mere human being as the foundation of the Christian church! "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man." (Psalm 118:8). Like David said, "The Lord is my rock" (Psalm 18:2) "And who is a rock, except our God?" (Psalm 18:31

  • "Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock." (Matthew 7:24-25)

  • or bedrock. Now we can see that there is an obvious difference! Peter was correct when he stated that Jesus was "the Christ" and it was this profession of truth that the church would be founded upon: Jesus Christ "the chief cornerstone" (Matthew 21:42). Jesus was talking about building His church upon the solid bedrock, not a small pebble.

  • At first glance, it may appear that Jesus was referring to Peter as "the rock", but we have to keep in mind that the New Testament was written in Greek, not English. This is one instance where the original wording reveals the true meaning of what is being said. The Greek word for Peter is petros, which means "a pebble" or a small stone. On the other hand, the Greek word that Jesus used for rock is petra, meaning "a massive rock"

  • Ah, the old petros/petra argument! I've heard that a thousand times. It is very much flawed.

Jesus would have originally referred to Peter in Aramaic as "kepha" which is then translated to either petros or petra in Greek. The two Greek words were in fact synonyms in first century Greek, so no distinction can be made between the two words. Jesus' following up with the statement, "what you bind on earth......." only further shows that he is entrusting Peter with the leadership of his church.

  • And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (verses 15-18)

  • Matthew 16. In verse 13, Jesus asks His disciples "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?" They responded by saying that some people thought Christ was John the Baptist, Elijah, Jeremiah, or one of the other prophets. "He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

  • thanks, JesusmessiahGodfold! Its sad that the world is full of religious people instead of true believers and fallowers of Christ. Worship is amazing when we worship in spirit and truth

  • Am not critisizing anyone for thier beliefs. Am just stating that being a true believer is more than just calling ourselves Cristian. Chis songs are good and better if we have been born again from water and the spirit and if we fallow the lord teachings and obey them.

  • @Latincanadian65 amen! definitenly true!

  • The word "Christian" means to be like Christ. Anybody can call themselves a christians but does not mean they are. If you are living a relgion only, you need to repent because Religion does not save, neither, the pope, the saints, the virgin Mary, the catholic church, the protestant church, but the only savior is Jesus. He is the way, the thruth and the life. I was also baptized and had God parents as a child until I read the bible and discovered the real truth in the bible.

  • Agree 100%. However, you can't diminish the importance of all the things you list (religion, Mary, and the Church) because they help to strengthen our faith and give us the grace and humility to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

  • Christians are those who have believed in Jesus and received him in thier hearts and have been baptized in water by Submersion not dropping some whater in thier head, when they were a child, that does not count because babies do not reason at that age, because the bible says "Those Who believe" Babies cannot believe. So is not that you are Catholic or of any other religion but to do things as the bible says. The bible does not endorse having a POPE, saints or venerating images.

  • Infant baptism:

"Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to him, saying, Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of God" (Luke 18:1516).

"She was baptized, with her household" (Acts 16:15)

  • As for the Pope:

"You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church...Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."" (Mat. 16:18-19)

Peter, as I'm sure you know, was the first Pope...It's pretty clear here that Jesus is entrusting him to be the leader of his Church.

Also, the Catholic Church does not, has never, and will never encourage the practice of "venerating images," whatever that means.

  • Tell Catholics the Truth by Mike Gendron

  • By the way, you may be surprised (and perhaps dismayed, due to your apparent hatred of all things Catholic) to learn who wrote this song...

This song was written by Matt Maher - A CATHOLIC songwriter, and was later covered by Chris Tomlin.

  • Sorry My friend, if you want to continue in your belief go ahead. I found the truth and am glad I did. Read the bible and ask God to give you understanding. I no longer wish to talk about the truth with you because I clearly notice you just want to compare your beliefs with mine. My beliefs are based in the Bible. I fallow no cathesism, no sacraments, no holly mary,s, no pope, no purgatory, no rosary, no mass, no saints , no sun god. Study catholic history. May God have mercy.

  • How condescending! I meditate on scripture at least three times daily...usually more. If your scriptural expertise so surpasses mine, I would really love for you to explain to me what Jesus meant by "what you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven..."

Every single element of the Catechism of the Catholic Church has scriptural reference.

And let me ask you a question: Who compiled the Bible?

Where do you go mentioning a "sun god??" You preach unity and then you insult a brother in Christ.

  • I just prayed for God to place understanding and a spirit of reconciliation in both (and all) of our hearts. I hope you will do the same.

  • guys! balik passion d2 sa manila! Sa May 2010 po.
