Can I replace my CBV stuff for the Heavy Duty Compressor Bypass Valve from IPD without removing the turbo? I just got an ECU tune from OEtuning, and I'm running 15-16PSI I was thinking it's about time I do, and should I also buy a new BPS too?
Great vid! One question though: If I wanted more boost could I just tighten the waste gate actuator? I have heard some say this is not safe. Why is it not safe?
this is great, showed me cut and dry how to adjust my wastegate actuator. i just wish i lived on the west coast so i could bring my 850R to IPD and figure out the best options for performance upgrades face to face with them!
This is a great product and I have a bunch of friends using it, but there is no problem with a blow off valve if you recirculate it back into the intake.
But yes, the atmospheric blow off valves are kind of a no-no on motronic 4.3/4.4.

Sorry: just so I'm clear: when adjusting the wastegate rod, the wastegate arm is turned clockwise as far as possible? Thanks.

Robert,
On my 1995 850 2.3T how should I set the actuator rod?
The same as in the video (4lbs)?
Thanks

@gigidy5
Yes, 3.7 lbs would be preferred, up to 4psi so long as there is no boost overshoot.

You're a rebel, how's it working? You are monitoring with a boost gauge?
